Well, technically speaking, Ghetsis's whole purpose for forming team plasma was to trick N and their followers to think they were doing a good thing just so he could betray N and rule Unova. If you just look at Ghetsis's B/W team, it perfectly counters N's team. And in BW2 anyone who actually wanted to free Pokemon left Ghetsis, and anyone who still followed Ghetsis just flat out admitted to being evil. It's actually quite a genius story.

There's are videos that go deeper into this topic. About how team plasma while having a noble goal and some fair points is wrong. Also this series is literally about friendship. With the heroes actually stopping the villains that do enslave pokemon (team rocket). Also most pokemon aren't pressed into slavery against thier will in the lore and story. While pokemon battles are a major part in pokemon. It isn't about the fighting It's about friendship and cooperation. Outside of battle, You even see pokemon and people having fun, being friends and helping each other out. In the games and anime. Pokemon aren't slaves forced to battle each other. Pokemon companions and friends. Outside of battle Pokemon and humans cooperate and coexist in day to day life. If you only focus on the battles, and actions of team rocket and ignore everything else that happens. You can see the points made by Plasma in Black and white. But if you go beyond just the battles. Beyond just the fighting and the actions of team rocket. You get to see team plasma is wrong. You get to see humans and Pokemon interacting out of battle. You get to see the coexistence and cooperation they share. You get to see humans treating pokemon as equals, you get to see humans treating pokemon as friends. Team plasma has a point in Not wanting Pokemon to be used for battle... But to outright separate pokemon and people is wrong. To get rid of the friendship and cooperation the two share is wrong.

Sadly, no. I thought the plot was certainly interesting, but the gym leaders and gen 5 pokemon were just awful. I especially hated Castelia City. Gamefreak ran out of good ideas during gen 3. Then Gen 6 happened and I have forgiven them a little.

It also hasn't found itself a distinct identity. It's more or less thought of as Mass Effect in high fantasy. The honest trailers aren't for challenges, they are for taking on trends

I’m not a big Pokémon guy, in fact I never really got into the series even after this game, but this might be one of my favorite RPGs of all time! I love the world you can explore, I love the different Pokémon you meet and I ESPECIALLY love the music! Castelia City might be one of my favorite instrumental songs in gaming! It’s so happy sounding! My only complaint is the rarity of PP restoring items. I’ve had times where I’m running on fumes when I get to a Pokémon center at the end of a route! Other than that, phenomenal game! I give it a 9/10 because of everything you just read and then some!
