I have spent more than 300 hrs on an emulator save running at 150% speed when I was in elementary school and midschool back in the day's, and still remember to this day that I captured a never-seen-before ratata and tentacool before knowing shining pokemon were a thing(aside from a red gyarados), and showed my friend and we were both disappointed that they weren't noticeably stronger in fights.😂

I found a shiny Zubat when I was with friends. It was a bit green, and nobody noticed it except me. I said it looked different, but they thought I was imagining things. Then I caught it, and it turned out to be shiny. After that, my friend caught a shiny Rattata and gifted it to me. I was disappointed with the Raticate's color. This all happened back when I was playing the Crystal version.

Magnemite was my first SHINY EVER, in all the shinies i found, found it before than the lake or rage Gyarados, im sad because i lost that save file ( i had a full odd shiny magnemite and magikarp too), ill get it again whit the shiny ditto breeding

They should have made PsyDuck to be blue like a GoldDuck, and GoldDuck to be Yellow like a PsyDuck And Magikarp should have been blue like a Gyaradks, since Gyarados was red like a Magikarp They got it right with the two Nidorans, by just switching each color from each gender from each other But with many of the shiny, I could barely to not see at all any difference between the shiny and the original
