I feel you with the reset of the shiny raikou. Back in October and November where I was hunting all the shiny legendarys that were left in my usum i also reset 3 shiny legendarys: entei, pheromosa and kyurem and also accidentally killed a shiny landorus. Those moments broke me for a moment but i still didnt gave up and reclaimed all of them in the end

@@EternalRadiantYeah especially the first Kyurem which took his time. But Entei and Kyurem came really quick after the Reset, Pheromosa took again about as long as the first shiny Pheromosa. But Landorus oh boy that was hard to stay focused, it took about 4 to 5 times longer than the first Shiny. THAT was a real pain but luckily landorus was the last one i was hunting and than it was over.

I feel that pain with Raikou, I experience that 2 years ago with Groudon I accidentally reset it. But I didn't stopped and then I reclaimed it the same day! I almost cried when I reclaimed a full odds that same day! The odds are no joke 1/8192 and I'm happy that's the best experience I've ever had on shiny hunting!

Hey don't worry, I failed a shiny (full odds) kyogre a few days ago on Ultra Moon, as I don't have a shiny charm yet. Then I failed shiny Groudon the next day on Ultra Sun, although this time I had shiny charm. My coping mechanism is gaslighting myself into not believing what happened. Edit: Both over odds (kyogre was over 7000, Groudon over 2000)

Unironically, i like this method of shiny hunting better than dynamax adventures, even though my favorite shiny (zygarde) comes from DAs. Being able to shiny hunt legendaries and actually have it affected by charm (unlike the regis in SWSH ;( ) is great.

I went 4x over odds for shiny Mewtwo, I was so in the zone with SR at that point that it just kinda happened when I saw the green tail, like muscle memory involentary type shit I didn't even realise I did it. EVENTUALLY I got it again after another 17,000ish, for a total of 29,000ish SR's. It turned me off SR hunts for a while...

I did a bunch of shiny hunts for legendaries in ultra moon and I got so lucky, it was worth all the time, I don't have time to do a play through of my ultra sun to get the shiny charm and hunt again, some highlights I got were shiny poipole, Zekrom, Kyurem, Lugia, Yvetal, Kyogre, the lake guardians, Latias in a level ball, Mewtwo, and Cresselia in a Moon Ball, and a few others, I'm hunting palkia and it will be the last one I do in the 3DS games, I am hunting Dialga in BDSP
