Actually, shinies can have pretty good stats in Gen 2. Since there's no EVs or IVs, shininess was determined by DVs. For a shiny to appear, all DVs, except for HP, had to be 10, where the max is 15. So usually, your shiny would have terrible health, but decent of every other stat

Just got to goldenrod and wow. This game is kicking my ass. The difficulty spikes are so sudden and jarring. The routes are legit challenges, and I've lost count of how many times I've wiped. I can't imagine doing a nuzlocke of this game.

To that comment about rentals being better because of just legend spamming for stadium, my mother actually leveled a LOT of different pokemon to different level thresholds to use in both Stadium games. The only one we had legends for was Prime cup, and even then I think we only really used Mewtwo for Master Ball rank. I remember her 3 boxes full of exactly level 51 pokemon so we would have a slight edge over base 50 without stopping us from using any combo for the Poke Cup though lol Starmie was MVP for us there.

Don't worry, googling 'tsundere chewing gum' appears to be safe. You know this just occurred to me what would happen if you never went to the Pokemon center and went to Mr. Pokemons house as you head on back before you reach your rival you battle a wild Pokemon and you white out. Crystal Kaizo actually looks a lot more enjoyable to play than Blue. Wider range of strategies, significantly more balanced battles, still difficult but like... not completely deranged.

So Cynda is really good in this you just need to know what level things learn so you don't evolve too early. I remember having everstones on some mons for like 20 levels lol. But it was fun because pokemon hardly takes advantage of that mechanic except for stone evos. I would recommend having the learnset document in the background

Yeah, there are just some sodas to avoid. I'm in the UK, and I hear American gamers rave about Mountain Dew. Never touched the stuff. Tried it a few months ago, and I was astonished that something with that much sugar in it could be so bland and tasteless. My wife didn't like it either, and she loves the "Carbonated poison", as I call it...

I do like that this is giving a much more balanced variety of pokemon even if it's kaizo. I love Gen 2 but it's infamous for downplaying a lot of Johto's pokemon with so many Johto trainers not having a single Gen 2 pokemon. If I was being brutally honest I would consider the Gen 2 games closer to Gen 1.5 (even the remakes only partially fixed Gen 2's problems).

Sludge has the same animation as Acid in gen 2, and poisons. Maybe that's what you thought of?

They don't have the same animation. Sludge and sludge bomb are quite similarly bit not the same. Acid is more hectic and throws a row of projectiles with the Hydropump sound effect.

You know why that streamer guide says, that you should remember random things about people and bring them up, it is to make them think you actually care about them, esp if you're a small streamer and to make them think you're their friend, so they'd come back.
