@ianh97 Yep, its rather counter intuitive, isn't it? I think it has something to do with this myth that the magikarp line is involved with. That if a fish climbs up a waterfall, it turns into a flying dragon or something along those lines. ....Of course naturally, they wouldn't give gyarados the ability to fly XD

I remember a while back my friend lent me Platinum. I came up to him a few days later while I was stuck in the distortion world and yelled, "SINCE WHEN CAN FUCKING GYRADOS USE EARTHQUAKE? MY LUXRAY DIED TWICE ALREADY!" I got laughed at and asked if I couldn't beat Cyrus. I think we all know the answer there. Eventually I beat him. There was much cheering... x-x
