The Lake theme from Pokemon Diamond & Pearl, remastered to CD quality, using the original synth, sound, and sample sources!
This remaster comes to us, thanks to Xerxes! He is sourcing sounds from the best quality sources, to show off how the soundtrack could have sounded, if it were not on the DS. The results here sound fantastic, and I'm quite sure you all will love them. Much love goes his way for allowing me to share his remasters here with you all.

I agree. The whole soundtrack is drenched in reverb, and quite a few arrangements include bad instrument choices. Why they couldn't just do a nice, proper remaster like this is a mystery.

When I listened to the “remake” version of this track, it felt as though it didn’t know what it wanted to be; While a bit of the beauty and spectacle of the original was _kinda_ present, it sounded like it was trying to aim for a Lo-Fi setting with hip-hop drums-which is then promptly shot in the foot by the part of the melody with energy in it, as said energy takes out the calm and replaces it with action. Meanwhile, this remaster here focuses on beauty and spectacle, while letting a _bit_ of energy have its time in the spotlight as a moment of refreshment, instead of letting it run away with the melody. Also, the instruments themselves are straightforward without any bells or whistles, making it easier to appreciate the music, even when it isn’t in the forefront of the listener’s mind.

It's actually an oboe, the sample in D/P/Pt is so compressed that it sounds like a saxophone, the same oboe is used in Amity Park
