Despite the 28% Win Ratio, I feel Gliscor is a True Powerhouse. If given a few more battles to shine, it would come through, no doubt. Hoping it comes back in Journeys for a WCS match, and has a new move too, like, Acrobatics! Acrobatics would prove how Gliscor has Mastered battling in the Air, seeing how Acrobatics looks in the Anime. With a moveset of: Giga Impact, Acrobatics, Fire Fang, and Stone Edge... Gliscor would put in work. Or... replace Stone Edge for Sandstorm, to make use of Gliscor Sand Veil in a similar way to Paul's Froslass with Snow Cloak + Hail. THAT would be powerful!

While I personally wouldn't call Gliscor the MVP of that particular battle (that honor goes to Infernape, fittingly enough), it was impressive to see it pull off a win against Drapion, with the damage from the burn it sustained from that last fire fang attack being what caused it to faint, interestingly enough. It's definitely a far cry from when we first saw him in the pilot

Did anyone notice that following the Sinnoh league, we spent the entire black and white saga not knowing where it was between the air master or professor oaks lab? It wasn’t until the post credit scene of the Japanese season finale that we finally were confirmed it’s whereabouts.

Yeah, Pokemon isn't great with tying up loose ends in a timely manner haha

@@ProfessorAlexSilver ain’t that the truth. But lately I think they’re doing almost everything right ever since Ash won his first Pokémon league in Alola

I loved gliscor, I wish it didn’t leave for training. It would have been cool to see it get more screen time and a couple more wins, I bet it could have done well vs volkner. Also surprised we never had a rematch between it and Paul’s gliscor. Hopefully it will return one day

I liked it on Ash's team but I did like that its absense led to the hilarity that is Gible

Professor, will you please explain Ash's Sceptile's history... Actually I have watched advanced generation a very little part and I don't have enough time to watch the entire advanced series..So, it'll help me a lot in understanding Sceptile's strength and clear my doubt whether or not he is suitable for Master's eight

Ash's Sceptile is one of his strongest Pokemon. His strongest grass type, and it's in his Top 5 strongest along with his Charizard & Pikachu.

Agreed on that last part about Palpitoad and Leavanny. Part of the reason Black and White was so underwhelming is because they tried so hard to replicate things from the Kanto series. Things that the series had worked to improve on were done again for nostalgia's sake and it felt like a regression. Like making Ash incompetent and by just giving him random throwaway Pokemon instead of treating his team like actual characters. The only reason anyone remembers Kingler and Muk is because of nostalgia. If the Kanto series happened now, no one is saying Muk is good for beating that Bellsprout. Palpitoad, Leavanny, and Boldor were meant to be like that generation's Kingler , Muk, and Tauros. But without nostalgia at their back everyone just sees them for what they are: products of shoddy writing.

Kingler's battle is still one of the best in the series imo :)

Gliscor is a perfect example of why win-rates shouldn't be the only criteria to judge a pokemons potential. He won 2 times but both of them were against foes who would have swept Ash and when Ash was backed into a corner

Agreed, I thought it was one of the tightest development arcs. It felt a lot like Goodra, not a lot of filler and everything fell into place narratively
