Idea. Hardcore Nuzloke with your usual rules. But you can only use Pokemon that are in the lowest competetive tier in that gen as well as the nfe and lc tier. So in Fire Red, you'd be able to start with Bulbasaur for example and could evolve it into Ivysaur but wouldnt be allowed venuasaur. Would love to know what you think?

Fun fact the leftovers are under the Snorlax you got to use the itemfinder in top of the tile Snorlax was on. You get two in fire red and leaf green. -from someone who was bored and was looking for leftovers for the elite four rematch

I think his take on a level cap starts when he enters a gym, not when he battles the leader. It was probably 29 when entering the gym, and then gained a level on the trainers. It's a pretty dumb way to do it tho, cause you could just grind rare candies and then boost your mons after entering the gym lol...

Seems odd to me the Pokédex considers the charizard line red when they’re orange, same with vileplume since it’s body would make more sense for the colour haha

I think Charizard and evolution line are red because there isn't an orange option. Or that's at least how it is in Pokemon Home. And Vileplume is red because the flower is red and someone thought it was the most prominent color xD

I love that your team is a bunch of French people, a grape and Zynx. Honestly, the rules thing is entirely up to you. For myself, I would have argued that I was allowed to catch non-red Pokémon as long as 1) I didn't use them in battle and 2) I used them to either get a red Pokémon (be it via evolution or trade) or because I need them for a HM. Also, I think that if you stand on the spots where the Snorlax slept and used Itemfinder, you would get Leftovers. It's more of an Easter Egg thing than a traditional hidden item, though, so you _have_ to stand on the exact spots AND use the Itemfinder to get them.

Machamp doesn't have No Guard in Gen 3, it was introduced in Gen 4. That Machamp probably did have Guts which definitely is devastating for a Nuzlocke RIP

PaPaSea i have 2 things to say: 1- this video was super fun to watch 2- U shouldve used the tm calm mind tm on jynx, cause i tought it jynx and i literally swept most of the team with jynx since it has the perfect stab combination and setup to destroy the elite four. When i did a fire red nuzlocke i swept lorelei with calm mind, spammed psychic and ice punch which killed every single pokemon in brunos team in one hit, agatha was tricky but lance i cleaned his team up with jynx after i killed gyarados and aerodactyl

I have played FireRed & LeafGreen for many years now and I’ve learned several things that aren’t even written in the Official Guides, and one of thing I’ve learned is the 2 Snorlax’s hold berry’s which wake them up, but you need the Itemfinder (after catching 30 Pokémon) and you stand on the spot the Snorlax’s were and use it and you automatically pick up the Leftovers. So you can catch, beat or run from the Snorlax’s and still get 2 Leftovers using the item finder.

22:57 Stone Edge is designed as a counter for Flying Pokemon. It does have 70 accuracy, but if it hits it can ignore that the Pokemon is in the air.

Could be a fun challenge to strategize for if it's a limit of one pokemon per color. That way you have to pick and choose which one of each color you want, and hope you get good luck with encounters. The exact rules could probably go a few ways, depending on how forgiving the challenge can be.
