2. Can only catch one Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause)
3. No items in battle (held items okay)
4. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)

Oh, I initially thought this would be a sort of pseudo-randomizer situation, where you draw a card on each route and your encounter is (modded to be) that 'mon. That could also be a fun one.

Odd glitch on the Rival 4 fight (16:56) where it has the Giovanni 1 repeat until Gyarados comes out. Still, a cool concept that I know some people have wanted to see (TCG pulls used for encounters, going to Elite 4 Round 2 and even beyond with the Trainer Tower) and it was pulled off quite well. ...you're not going to do this with Emerald and the Battle Frontier, are you?

Next we'll see a pokemon go run where you can only catch Pokemon you find on your journey to touch grass and find encounters like a pseudo poke walker Though I'd love to see another poke walker nuzlocke too. Those are so unique or those group encounters shakey grass etc special ways to find pokemon challenge would be cool as some get unique moves

Meowth is probably the best encounter you can have an a frlg locke, the pickup table gives lotsa berries, which is especially useful given hold items are kinda rare in gen 1 remakes

Do trainers or pick something you can do while grinding if after just exp. Like hunting held items or so. If for ev's? Get the power items. Speeds it uo a lot

Wouldn't Lapras be in conflict with the two Hitmons? Considering you count Eevee and the Game Corner prize mons as "Celedon" encounters I figure Saffron should be the same. Just making note for future videos.

Nope, Lapras is considered being obtained in "Silph Co." on the summary screen, and Hitmonlee is from Saffron City.
