my personal favorite was dude telling him which trainers he can avoid by going a different route. it was probably harmless, but it's pretty obvious from watching even ten minutes of any competent speedrunner (let alone a frequent WR breaking speedrunner) how much they've broken everything down for efficiency. they hit frame perfect manips just to start runs now, I'd think he'd know which trainers he can't avoid.

Flawless Kicks on this run actually had a huge impact to the god time early game imo. Unfortunately kind of bad E4 + Champ runs in the end but still a good run overall.

Did not mean to lower the fact that it is a world record run by saying "it's (only) a good run". I know Gunner worked hard enough for that an put hours and hours into optimizing his strategies for this run. Was just trying to say that I guess in hindsight gunner may be a little bit disappointed with the time "only" being a 3.32 although his goal was for it to be a 3.31. Especially because E4 + champ went way better in other runs (except champ 2 as we all know) and this obviously was where he lost quite some time.
