My group had 12 people, and we managed to defeat the Gigantamax. With a strategy of healing, attacking, attacking. Healing, attacking, attacking. Level 40 Pokémon with the right attacks and some with level 2 attack and level 1 healing.

For me the biggest mistake niantic made was not having them ( starters ) in all week just for people could sort there mons out

They should have started everything two weeks sooner. Instead of releasing all starters at once, they should have released on at a time, in a logical order. Venusaur>Blastoise>Charizard. Not only would that have allowed Niantic to work out any bugs or issues, but it would have made the process less overwhelming, which occurred because most players didn’t have counters built for all three all at once.

If they drop the difficulty enough that 10 trainers can do it, it'll open up the battles to a much larger range of trainers. I don't mind traveling (with-in reason) to meet up with other trainers, but the max we can get locally is 10 & that seems to be the case for a large number or the more rural townships or city area players (we have travel up to 3hours to meet at the closest small city). It being difficult with 10 trainers is fine, as long as it isn't impossible.

@@dacubanmofo Only 8 were interested in trying them & no one had lv50 counters, so we couldn't do it, we got close a few times, but we just didn't have the numbers- basically we gave up after a dozen tries & 2hours of effort. At this point I doubt anyone in my area will get Gmax pokemon as things stand.

I just think they need them to have a visible change so other players can see them. Their really expensive for a pokemon that only you can see..

The reason you can't remote the Gmax is bc it takes actual communication and strategy. I think people would end up angry if they opened it up to remote and they continually failed.

They really need to make it so people globally can be entering it with you remotely by the use of Campfire like they did with raid passes and remote raid passes for raids to you know make it similar with the max raid battles globally by invites in Pokemon Sword and Shield rather than focusing on you doing it by yourself even waiting for others to show up and help you in person since not everyone does have Pokemon Go or them just being busy and something

Glad they're increasing the catch rate cuz i damn near cried when i got to my last ball on a zard... Worked so hard to build my team and then taking 3tries with full lobbies to defeat it only for it to flee wouldve done me in tbh... Luckily i caught it.. I totally get they weren't supposed to be easy to take down but omg they were ridiculously tough... They definitely need to increase the daily mp cap tho

I don't want it to be easier, I want to be able use my pokemon from storage, that's all needed. I wish to unlock max moves for my Lv50 hundo blast burn charizard, but I'm not willing to powerup a new one with crappy IV, it's too much wasteful.

Let the small gp of people continue their success next week, I probably wont do the gengar raid, it is too late. The small portion of people in advantage last weekend easily got shundo, shiny. Leading to extreme unfairness to 99 per people worldwide, now we can only do one raid still by using 800 energy. I no longer interested.

The group I was playin with were all in a charizard, and we beat it with i around 15-16 so i think it'll get easier when we have better counters
