I doubt the Pokemon Go Plus grants you an "extended range", it's much more likely that while using a phone, spawning pokemon would require more translated data through 3d character model display, animation, & the tap to interact functions. Where as the Plus accessory just needs to relay location info. So at higher speeds, it makes more sense that the pokemon go plus is marking more pokemon. anyway, I ADORE THIS SERIES ALI :D

That thing bugs pokestops like no tomorrow, at least on some android devices. Green Flash: Pokemon is registered in the pokedex. It could still be a high class pkmn. Yellow flash: Pokemon is NOT registered in the pokedex. Bad location for your GO Plus Claire when you were driving the first time, in that place it is very hard to feel the vibration.

actually, if u compare pokemon GO to other mobile games it's very much alive! Normally the players of mobile games decrease with like 50% in a couple of days after launch when pokemon GOs users only decreased like 25% in two months! In many areas like northern Europe and so on its slowly getting colder outside and therefore it will "die out" for the winter but when summer comes again I think people will pick it up again! :)

Also a fun heads up you can have the Pokemon Go running in the background of your phone as you have your Pokemon Go Plus on you and connected. So this way if you are having battery saving issues this should help a little. This is just based upon my personal experience.

For Pokémon Go Plus, at work I run around a lot but can't have my phone on me. I can put it somewhere near me tho. By using the walking, how far are you able to walk from the pokemon go for it not to notice you? Does it still track ur steps when you're a little away from the phone?

I still think Niantic need a lot more work to do on this game, especially for us outside in the countryside with barely any pokemon stops or gyms. Just trying to get a revive from a pokestop is a pain in the ass. This device looks and sounds good but I bet it's just going to be another way for them to make lots of money. (30-40 pounds in the UK for a device that only offers some simple features.) plus the increased range of interacting with stuff should be for everyone not just PLUS exclusive. A typical bluetooth device can be as little as 5 pounds - so again they just trying to milk money out of this game rather than making it fair and balanced. Have you ever noticed how towns & cities have way more pokemon and stops etc? And coincidentally they are always near shops or landmarks? But down here in countrysides when you pass farmyards etc you don't get any stops. This game is really P2W or centred around highly populated areas. Instead of focusing to draw people away from the cities, you'd expect more pokemon to be out in the wild (Countryside with less vehicles and population) rather than it all being in big, built up areas. How often in the games would you see Ash go into a city and catch a fuck ton of pokemon? Never. I can't even find pokemon out in the park next to my house they are always on roads next to houses. The only exception to this is rivers and lures.

+P Bouma It's more than balanced. The Pokemon Plus device actually gives you a disadvantage. You only get 1 chance of cathing a wild pokemon with 1 pokeball. If you would've had your phone, you can have a higher percent chance of capturing that Pokemon. So in it's in no way unfair

The Pokémon GO Plus will only attempt captures if you already have the Pokémon registered in your Pokédex. If a Pokémon that you don't have appears on your phone, you don't get the chance to auto capture it.

I work all over the country and play pokemon go. as far as pokestops go. I was in Norwich a few weeks ago and I can tell you as gospel there has to be at least 100 pokestops in the city centre. omg it was insane. I caught 57 pokemon and overfilled my items too many times in 2hrs. massive fan keep up the good work

instead of throwing one poke ball when it flashes green and having one chance to catch it, the next time you go on your phone it should appear any wear just like the starter pokemon, then you would have a much higher chance of capturing your pokemon.

You never have to be "on" the Pokemon, they can easily show up outside your "radar ring" and remain catchable far away from where you are.

Really don't like the fact you get only one throw of a standard Pokéball. Definitely only worthwhile using when out driving in my opinion, as I would want to maximise my chances of capture with Great / Ultra balls, and Great / Excellent throws. Would be interesting to see the capture rate for more interesting Pokémon though (not just Rattatas, Pidgeys and Weedles), as 40%+ for CP500+ Pokémon would actually be pretty good.

Thanks for the tips. Just got back from vacation in California and went to the Santa Monica pier and saw a ton of new Pokemon. Went to San Francisco and got to use the new tracking system. Awesome Thanks for all the ideas for Pokemon catching.
