Pokemon Gym Leaders: Good to Evil (GEN 1)
If your dream is to become a Pokemon Master, you have one major goal: to overcome the powerful Pokemon trainers most often referred to as Gym Leaders. Gym Leaders are supposed to be paragons of what a Pokemon trainer can be and their personalities are as varied and distinct as the monsters they bring into battle. But are they all truly good? And if not, which ones are downright evil?
Each Pokemon game features a different Region with its own unique lineup of Gym Leaders and today we’ll be looking at the cast of characters that call the Kanto region home! And, for the purposes of this list, we’re going to consider Elite 4 and Champion trainers. #Pokemon

Why is she here because of the Pokémon manga she is an admin of team rocket

If we're going by manga logic, a lot of these Gym Leaders/Elite 4 trainers would be lower on the spectrum. Koga wasn't above stabbing/poisoning trainers to get a leg up. Lt. Surge straight up tried to electrocute Red on multiple occasions and headed a Pokémon smuggling operation. Sabrina's infatuation with Giovanni had her manipulate trainers with her psychic powers and even kidnapped all of Pallet Town. Lorelei tried to freeze trainers to death and even made ice voodoo dolls that almost saw a trainer lose their limbs. Agatha is almost as bad with poison as Koga, but also had her ghost Pokémon possess trainers and led a massive wild Pokémon army. Lance tried to take control of Lugia and take over the world. And Giovanni added more evil acts to his resume when he turned Viridian Forest into a feral Pokémon breeding ground, killed Pokémon that attacked him, used his position as Gym Leader as a cover for Pokémon smuggling, and abandoned his son. Pokémon manga ain't playing around.

Erika is the leader of the Gym Leaders of Justice & probably fits the Gold Medal of Goodness. The Elite 4 wanted a world where only the strong survived & Lance probably was the most Evil in the manga. Giovanni freed Red from Lorelei's ice & gave him the destiny spoon that led him to the battlefield & he assisted Yellow against Lance.

I would bump Brock up some because in the anime he is currently Training to be a Doctor, and he raised 9 kids all on his own, supporting and rainsing them best he could as a parental figure. Then there was him with Bonsly and Happiny being a loving parent for both of them, his various exploits to save the world along side Ash in the main series anime and his care and love for pokemon that I would say suprasses Misty's. I think he deserves a higher place than misty in that role

The manga changes things up quite a bit. Lt. Surge, Koga, and Sabrina are part of Team Rocket. Blaine was part of it, but disbanded. All the Elite Four in Kanto are evil as well and try to take over the world

Lance is the most Evil Character on this list in the Pokemon Special Manga ironically, he wanted a world where only the strong survived. Team Rocket is much more complicated in the manga with Giovanni being more of an Antihero after Red defeated him.

An evil to most evil for the villains would be cool, but that's probably the last Pokemon video you can do. Blue getting the silver medal of evil really proves this formula just doesn't work for Pokemon.

Mewtwo maybe grey cause he can be good or bad that kinda depends on his mood, he more fights for other pokemon then all people. The regi trio could be hard cause they were created mainly like a family, but at the same time they saved a town from a volcano. 🤔 I really like pokemon! @@jrd4791 Both of them, P.S In my opinion The most good legendary is giratina: because he is never a villain and the only "crime" he committed is violence which let's be honest here isn't really a crime in the pokemon world and the most evil is nihilego because it's a symbiote that makes people violent and drives them insane which is one of the few fates that are worse than death and there's already a pokemon that embodies that oh and one more thing Darkrai and Yveltal aren't evil they just got stuck some of the more negative abstract concepts

The thing i personally share with Major Bob to a degree is the view on unevolved pokemon. Not that they are worthless but more in the sence i only choose a Pokemon after its final Stage. If i dont like it, i dont take it in my team, no matter how good the stages before are. And no matter how rude and crude Blue is... for me he will always the best rival.

Eyy a pokemon one, great list BTW The only thing I disagree with is Lt.Surge being in bad rather than bottom grey area, like the ither gym leaders, Lt.Surge is just doing his job (sure I get your point he can be quite rough but as a gym leader you'd want to get your game on), also I feel Pikachu getting hurt in the anime was partly ashes fault too for not coming properly prepared (plus a few bruises is nothing compared to Sabrina making u suffer as a doll eternally). Also shouldn't him being a military solider get him a few points? In the end tho it's clearly your opinion (which I respect) but I feel that Lt.Surge should be ranked similar to Koga and Sabrina (especially since in the manga, the latter 3 sticked with team rocket).
