I agree with you on that. Besides, along with N and his supporters, they were manipulated by the true mastermind “Ghetsis” for his own plans to take over the entire Unova region from the first Black and White game while they’ve switched sides separately into two different groups and then helping the main characters to stop Neo Team Plasma and Ghetsis from using Kyurem to cover the entire region in ice in the second Black and White game. Which gives the old Team Plasma a chance for redemption.

Separate from my other comment, I wanted to go ahead and rank the major antagonists without their teams, evil to most evil. Edit: Added the villain from Legends: Arceus without spoiling their identity. N: The most noble antagonist in the series Guzma: Just wanted to become stronger and aid Lusamine; wanted his strength to be acknowledged Lusamine (USUM): Just wanted to defeat Necrozma Archie/Maxie/Rose: Well-intentioned extremists Colress: In it for the science. Lusamine (SM): Twisted psychopath Lysandre: Did try to destroy the world, but has understandable motives. Also seems to feel bad about having to destroy the world. Legends: Arceus Villain: Basically the same as Lysandre, but a lot more obssessed and crazy about it. Kinda debating whether they go ahead of Giovanni or not. Giovanni: Commited various crimes for selfish gain Cyrus: Was willing to erase everything for himself, not even for his team, fully intended to kill everyone including his team Ghetsis: Manipulated a child into serving his purpose, lied to said child and his team to gain power, and will go out of his way to try killing the protagonist when they oppose him. Also the only villain to threaten the player's life directly purely out of spite rather than as part of his mission. The only reason why Cyrus isn't higher than Ghetsis in my opinion is because Cyrus seems to be doing what he does in order to "end pointless strife and hostility." He just wants some peace and quiet, but to the extreme. Feel free to agree or disagree.

there is a tiny detail you forgot about Lusamine as there is another factor to her past that resulted in her troubles, beside the family loss she was infected by Nihilego as well, even before the game starts cause remember, Nihilego is a *parasite* those things are nasty also there are the events from Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, where she teams up with Ultra Recon Squad to protect Alola from Necrozma (note that in those games Lusamine was not infected before the game starts)

I feel like Team Neo Plasma is easily ahead of Rocket in evilness, they froze an entire city as a display of power and Ghetsis actively threatened the player with physical harm, and would have killed them if not interrupted. On top of that, the grunts are just more competent and maybe slightly more evil versions of the Team Galactic grunts, who are already pretty evil. Team Neo Plasma are megalomaniacs and sadists, especially their leader, with only the Shadow Triad and Colress not falling into those categories.

Team Rocket is the most evil. They want to Unova and almost destroyed it in such a short time, making Team Plasmas efforts look like child's play. Of course that was just in the anime, But the game version of Team Rocket can hold it's own and is the most evil because they are more heartless for the lives of Pokémon and people.

​@@HazbinHotelStaffAre you seriously saying that Team Rocket freezing Unova make them worse than Team Plasma, even though Team Plasma literally did the EXACT SAME THING in B2W2, in fact it was worse than what we saw in the BW Anime, when Team Rocket did it, the buildings and the road just got partially frozen, but when Team Plasma did it, cities were COMPLETELY frozen, everything was covered in ice, giant unbreakable clusters of ice busted out of the ground and blocked off many areas, the temperature dropped significantly, and numerous citizens were likely frozen solid, granted we only see this Opelucid City, but it was still way worse than what Team Rocket did during the Operation Tempest, Team Flare also outclasses them in XYZ where they use Zygarde to unleash a giant rock with dangerous vines that nearly destroy Lumiose City and would have destroyed the entire world if it made contact with the sun dial, not to mention we also have Team Magam and Team Aqua who awakened Groudon, the emissary of the Land, and Kyogre, the emissary of the sea, two mortal enemies that, through their fierce clash, would have destroyed the entire, and then there's Team Galactic who wanted to destroy the universe and create a new one that has no spirit or emotion, not only that, but what Team Rocket did to Unova wasn't even the worst Team Rocket could, I mean think about it, Giovanni had control over the literal Forces of Nature, he could have unleashed a massive thunderstorm or thousands of tornados, but instead he just partially froze some buildings and roads, and before you say "Ash and Co. fought him before he could do anything else", let me ask you this, why didn't he have the Forces of Nature freeze Ash and his friends or overwhelm them with thunderstorms and tornadoes? If Ghetsis can use Kyurem to incapacitate the player (who is a child) for (presumably) forever, then there's no reason for Giovanni to not throw a tornado at Ash, Iris, Cilan, and everyone else who was interfering with his plans, if anything, it could be argued that Team Rocket is the LEAST evil team since every other evil team (aside from Team Skull and Team Yell of course) outclasses them by a mile run.

This is a great video and all, but I have to bring up something that is a pet peeve of mine: something everyone seems to get wrong. Piers had nothing to do with Team Yell's less than noble actions. They acted on their own volition. If anything, their actions actually did more harm to Piers than good. I apologize if I seem petty, but this is something that gets to me everytime it's mentioned. Edit: Cyrus was indeed trying to erase the current universe in favor of creating a world entirely for himself. He cared nothing for the current world or his team and intended to erase all he saw as "incomplete"

I actually had a very interesting(if also disturbing) for an evil team, a group of hypnotic cultists, many of the members hypnotize others into becoming more grunts and drones, imagine almost an entire town becoming hostile because of their influence, actually nearly all the members are hypnotized!

Why you only mentioned Aether action in Sun and Moon, and not Ultrasun and Ultramoon? It would make sense to at least look at both, and if you want to chose one, USUM are the more recent and complete one and the ones canonical in Masters, so it would make sense to look at them. Also Lusamine actions in Sun and Moon are due to Nihlego toxins, not her own will, so it's difficult to valute her morality here.

Lusamine being infected by Nihilego is anime-only and is never stated in SM. You can argue that she was infected when she went to Ultra Space, but that's just a theory and everything she did before was of her own will.

She is clearly not in the right mind, her ossession with Nihilego seems to come from nowere if you don't take the toxins into consideraction, she is clearly very unstable especially if you confront her with her USUL self, and considering that they are both the same persons and despite being different universes everyone else have the same personality there should be some reasons why they act so different, and when Samina got defeated, she seems to wake up from a trance, she watch lylia and say "when did you start becoming beautiful?" as if now she see her in a completly different way, in the italian version is even more obvious because she notice that she is grown up, as if she doesn't even remember anything after she was infected and only now she wakes up, but i don't know wich one is the vorrect translation, i should check the original but i don't know Japanese, anyways is pretty obvious even if you don't take the anime into consideration

Lysandre, with his opinions, makes me think of a certain dictator. Someone who thought they were making their country better. Cyrus wanted all emotion gone which sounds horrible. But some people don't feel that much. I'm not one of them though. I'm autistic and I feel so much even if it doesn't always look like it. Cyrus wanted a world without intense emotions that can make you do bad decisions. Intense emotions are rather overwhelming for me, but I wouldn't want it all to disappear just like that! Lysandre's goals just disturbs me more, because of how similar it is to that certain dictator. They tried to erase autistic people in the past, so people like Lysandre will always disturb me more. Even if you think you're doing something great for humanity, that doesn't always mean you do, because everyone have a different defintion on what's good for everyone. Imagine knowing that some people think it's best for humanity to erase you. Lysandre were probably a good person before, but now? Eh.. But I'm pretty biased due to his goals.

Fun fact: manga Cyrus is a much different character. He to was also without emotions finding comfort in the complexities of machines but he saw that as a flaw in himself. Manga Cyrus was a firm believer of the sinnoh myths in particular the lake trio and saw the need to have wisdom emotion and willpower to be complete. So on top of seeing himself flawed he also considered the world to be flawed based on the chaos it finds itself in so he desired to remake the world in order to make it complete.

So, I have two things that feel are misaligned. Cyrus is less evil than Lysander and Team Rocket beats Plasma. Team Rocket stole and injured pokemon for their goals. They were basically the Mafia. Plasma want REGION DOMINATION! Then for Cyrus. You misinterpreted his thoughts. Cyrus wanted to eliminate the world, and his team because they did not fit his criteria, to make a perfect world. It was because they had emotion and he didn't. Using the Pokemon of Time and space, he tried to erase the world, the learned about the distortion world being the other half. Both Team flare and Team Galactic wanted to change the world, but Cyrus wanted to get rid of everything and everyone. Lysander was okay with his band of idiots not being able to always win. Both deserve high points, but Cyrus gets first place in my book.

@@LucarioBot Okay, last I checked Archer's version of Team Rocket was "infamously" incompetent, granted Team Rocket was incompetent in the first place, I mean Giovanni could've given his goons Pokemon that are ACTUALLY powerful, and said goons could've used a team of 6 Pokemon, instead of only using 2, and do you honestly expect me to believe that a mafia boss could overpower a guy with superhuman strength and durability, and if you take away all of Giovanni's followers, what is he? Having influence only makes you a makes you a threat when your behind the scenes, if your only "major power" is influence, then your not a "major threat", I should also mention in Weak to Powerful Videos, characters who actually FIGHT or have actual ABILITIES are always ranked higher then characters who just have money and influence, and even if we only look at power as in money and influence, there is still someone who outmatches Giovanni, that person being King Dedede who has WAY more influence and money, Giovanni might have some followers, but King Dedede has and ARMY, and so does Bowser, and a few incarnations of Ganondorf, and again Giovanni can't even maintain control over a single building, whereas King Dedede, as I mentioned before, is an ACTUAL ruler, and also unlike Giovanni, King Dedede actually knows how to maintain his control over the respective land that he rules, or maybe nobody ever bothered overthrowing him, because he seems to be a kind of competent ruler, but regardless both Wario and King Dedede are more powerful then Giovanni will ever be, and that's saying something, because their less villainous then Giovanni, so to clarify, Giovanni is the weakest Nintendo villain ever.
