You need 73 or so in FireRed and 65 or so in leafgreen to get enough money to buy enough coins in game corner for Scyther/Pinsir, Dratini and Porygon in one go.

@@squishy0132how? One gold nugget is $5000 and 120x 5000 is $600,000 and apparently you need about $800,000 to get all the Pokémon from the game corner. You certain 120 was enough?

No you don't I just did the math you need at least $372,000 in FR (the math isn't entirely correct since Dratini cost 2800 coins and Abra is 180 but since winning 380 coins isn't easy that's your best bet.) you technically need to get at least 75 nuggets in FR to have enough money to buy every game corner Pokémon but the top commenter was close at least

This glitch is also actually unique to these remakes, as in the originals you only got one nugget and if you lost to him you couldn't fight him again.

An easier (a little bit more time needed) way is to get vs seeker and use that to fight the trainers to the left of fuschia (the bird keepers) and just keep using the vs seeker

Ok but the meowth exploit if far better and more fun. Just use meowth with the black glasses and spam pay day on all you battles. It even works in wild encounters so no restarting the game and honestly isn't as boring

Always used this back in the day in my playthroughs so I could afford all the TM's in the game corner early on Even though Amulet Coin Pay Day Meowth works better and gives you a chance for PPUPs, Rare Candies, and Hidden Power TMs thanks to Meowth's Pickup ability 😂

this is probly slower than using the vs seekers on semi island 5 on the 2trainers that gives 10 000 base coins. use and amulet coin and even a meowth or something with pay day and you can get a million quite fast. still a nice trick tho and is fast if starting from a fresh game.

This is definitely good for the beginning of the game , after the elite 4 you can go to one of the new islands and fight 2 aroma ladies that give you close to 20,000 if your pokemon has the amulet coin

Playing leaf green on ds rn. Absolutely works. Beat the trainers, lose to the rocket grunt. Wake up at center, walk back, he talks to you like you just met. Sat there for a couple hours. Sitting on just over 100 nuggets now. (Half a mil) no joke
