The quickest route for leveling pokemon is Sevault Canyon on Seven Island next tp the house with the healing Chansey dude. Have to have the VS seeker. The 2 trainers next to it will give you like 8k exp a min and the guy in the house heals your pokemon. Much quicker than elite four. Also the quickest way to get money is on Five Island next to the rich girl's house. With the VS seeker and Amulet Coin there's 2 trainers that give 20k per defeat. I didn't watch the entire video to be fair though. Hopefully this helps.

where'd the 8k come from? one fight is roughly 30s, plus setup is another 30-40 depending on how long the vs seeker wants to take, and a level 56 chansey would only give about 1500 exp (it's gotta be split because of exp share, there's no chance most of my pokemon would actually fight the chansey). e4 grinding is around 2k exp per minute at worst given no mistakes or dogshit luck (which admittedly both happen in this run oopsie), and it gets faster as you go

@@sheepsquared2054 Upon rebattling the 2 trainers their levels are level 50s. each defeated pokemon gives over 1k exp with an exp share. The VS seeker from my run through was about 100 steps. I didn't account for having lower levels in your party due to speedrunning though. There's no chansey to fight, the chansey is a healing station next to the trainers. yeah i just remembered a huge reason why i didn't want to do that, it was the friendship evolutions. carrying them in the party to gain friendship while i had to grind pokemon like rhyhorn, omanyte, etc was nice. i can check how many levels they'd need to evolve though, to see if maybe it'd still be worth
