I think the short explaination of the wasp was pretty good, quick and simple. Why not use that as a baseline to branch out from there ? How do the spawns and collision work, what affects it, how does the wasp movement work and how can you predict it to get it consistently, does the framerate affect it ? And so on, and so on. I mean games are complicated when you look at them at a technical level and honestly i would love to see a series where you expain all of this about the game, even if i maybe only understand 75% of it, because some things just can't be dumbed down.

Near the start he was talking, I *assume*, about different catagories, and he like shorthanded one to what sounded like "SHA"? whats that? Edit 1: Same question for "ASM". Edit 2: Got to about 46 minutes in. SHAR. Like, as in, Simpsons Hit And Run. Alright. He was just talking about running the whole game as a whole, not a catagory in it

SHA prolly is SHAR which is just "Simpsons Hit and Run" ASM is All Story Missions which is just beating the game by beating all missions. It's different from any% where youre allowed to skip missions

I could recommend Gunnermaniac for formatting on a video like you describe at the start. Pokemon isn't the exact same game as this but the runs are of similar length and I think he does a good job of explaining the game.

If there's any type of documentation on how to do the speedrun and its strarts, you can take those documents and feed them to the Google Ai Studio and ask it for an entertaining script or whatever fits the video that you're trying to do, hope it helps!
