Bro there's a shaking shiny glitch, when you find a shiny from a shaking rock or tree, there is a glitch that can make you get multiple of the same shiny

Try playing Legends Arceus. One of the fastest games for shinies out there. Most of the Switch Pokémon games are easy to find shinies on mostly bc you encounter so many more Pokémon than the older games

I feel ya on that basculin fail. A while ago, I found a shiny abra and saved the moment it started to teleport, so when I reset, it said that 'The reported Pokemon seem to be gone...' I was very annoyed and upset with this.

Fun fact: Turtwig is actually the owner of the KZbin channel you are watching, Turtwig told the other white guy to treat him like that to get more viewers. And actually the Twig that we see on Discord is Turtwig typing to chat with people.
