I don’t blame Iscan for being scared of Dusclops. According to the Pokédex, if you look inside Dusclops’ body it’ll literally steal your spirit. Also, its mouth will absorb anything, but nothing ever comes out. It’s essentially a black hole. In real life Dusclops would be terrifying.

This game is great because, like with let's go, it encourages you to catch a lot, not as a "Hey, fill the Pokedex cause why not," but by giving you money, showing alphas, and quest.

However if you study history, especially the time period Victorian/Edwardian and Meiji/Taisho era. You can see the references that mark it taking place around those times. Definitely not ancient japan like the 1600s, where I see some people believe this game is taking place.

So in real life when Japan was finally force to open up there was a time when they were a mixture of Ancient Japan and Turned of the Century. It actually considered one of the greatest feat of Japan from going from Ancient Feudalism to World Power House with in 80 years. Well other countries took centuries.

So it's in line with the naming theme of gen4 Original comment: Honestly the first thing I thought it was a pun on (fire) red (fire=hi) and (water) blue (water=sui) being the first Pokémon games so they just put both of them together as kind of a pun name. It doesn't really work that well though since in Japan the first games were red and green not red and blue. Hisui does literally just mean jade though so it's way more likely to just be that.

So, when I heard about H-Lilligant, I was really excited. And, hers is one of the 2 new pokemon designs in this game that I don't care for. The other is a new Legendary, no spoilers. I just wish that Lilligant had like, a Konohana Sakuya cherry blossom thing going on. One of my favorite things about original Lilligant was the big dress and removing it for a ballet dancer theme is just really not to my liking. Just venting.

The excitement of seeing each new Pokemon is the exact same way I feel playing this game. I still haven't found my Ponyta though, I keep getting the wrong spawn patterns and its driving me nuts. The best thing my distortions have had so far is a Leafeon.

Found out real early on just how bustedly OP that Umbreon is in this game. For some reason, not only does it have high defense and sp defense.. but it also has decent attack/sp attack in this game. This is probably the best Pokemon game we got since Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky. I just hope Legends becomes the new main series. It's what a Pokemon game *should* be.
