Edit: I also thought of Digimon during the early legends ZA trailer, considering how vaguely similar it looked compared to the digimon project trailer back in 2021!

I think the reason it lingers so long on the Lumiose map from above and that they've said the game is an "ambitious new game set in Lumiose city". I think it's fully set in Lumiose and the it's gridded like Arceus into districts.

The SOE YUE Unown at the end actually spell out SEE YOU, but the O and E Unowns are swapped incorrectly. Same thing with the Unowns at the beginning were supposed to spell out Pokemon Presents, but were all scrambled.

That's why it's called Pokemon Legends Z-A because its usually takes place before the original game comes up. The holographic presentation is just a blueprint for redeveloping the urbanize Lumiose City. The key words here we know it's before XY is the "A Vision of beautiful coexistence between people and Pokemon..." means that there are still conflict with the relationship if pokemon and humans. Modern eras are now getting along with pokemon but here it's to coexist. Also not a coincidence that they choose Kalos after Paldea because Paldea is a representation of Spain so it's near France which Kalos is based on. Not gonna be surprised if they mentioned Paldea and Galar (representation of UK) because they were in war before. actually Paris, France got a redevelopment plan in the 1850s like literally they demolished many buildings and ended the redevelopment plan by 1889 by finishing the Eiffel Tower last. It's possible for a future Kalos but it wouldn't feel like Legends if it's like that to be honest.

​@@CodenameJDParis was redeveloped in 19th century, which is also when Ezo (later known as Hokkaido) was colonized in Japan. This game will be set in the past during the same timeframe as PLA. The Lumiose Redevelopment plan is what built the modern Lumiose in XY.

Thank arceus its not gen 5 remakes or gen 10. Hopefully this means they plan on letting those cook this time and we wont get anything that important until 2026 when pokemon has their 30th. A 4 year development cycle is great news if thats whats happening. Lets hope its not a 4 year cycle of 4 different games+dlc by a single studio.

Nah, the fire fox starter was from Kalos. They wouldn't make a Kalos variant of a Kalos pokemon. Snivy and Sobble totally viable though. Then again, they may do the generations that Arceus didn't do. Which would be 1, 3, 4, and 8 (and 9 but 9 feels too recent). Or they could try to help complete the starter trios that got left behind so 2, 5, and 7.

So the speedy and snappy take on the mobile games wasn't an improvement or to appreciate? The way they presented them were one of the best ways they ever presented mobile games, and the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket was pretty neat and not anything to underplay, it's appreciative of what they're doing and fun, and to add a cherry on top of the improved Pokemon Presents was reveling a new Legends game no one expected rather than giving us an expected/rumored game to take away the surprise. So in general sense this was a very well done presentation and probably one of their best.
