i was finaly able to beat the Elite 4. This is my Resume for my Team (best to worst). The Number 1 Spot in my Team goes to steelix. Amazing Typing, the Attack Stat got also boosted and u can increase it even further with Held Items (Boost Earthquake for Example). Extremly Useful in a lot of fights and a defensive tank. Number 2 is for sure Areodactyl. Extremly fast an hits like a train. Rock and Flying is a decent Typing. Aredactyl was good for the Run but extremly important for the Elite 4. (Entei, Houndoom, Heracross, Machamp, Typhlosian...) highly recommend. Number 3 maybe a bit contreversal but i will go with Scizor. Scizor only got 1 weakness and got a pretty decent 70 Stab Move with Cut. U can further increase his attack with Swordsdance and Held items. Because he has just one Weakness its hard to disrupt. In some extremly hard fights he played a very important role. For example; rival fight Starmie, or the league Slowking, Slowbro, Venusaur. Probably without the Stab Move Cut i wouldnt put it that high on the List, but yeah it is what it is. Fun Fact, Szicor also deliverd the final blow in the League against Snorlax (crit). Number 4 will be Gengar; Gengar is just great. Good Typing, good Stats and good Movepool. He can learn all the elemental punches for coverage and stuff like Hypnosis und Destiny Bond if you want to try cheesy strategys. Its also pretty fast so it will in many Cases go first. It feels a bit frail and i am not that big of a fan of cheesy strats. Honestly it could be higher on the List. Number 5 is Machamp; it fills the role of a pshysical strong Fighting Typ - but not more than that. Yes he learns coverage Moves like Rockslide or the elemental punshes, but it is far to slow (even with held items) to use Rockslide against flying Pokemon before dying. Furthermore the special attack is not good - the elemental Punshes dont do a lot of damage. Honestly, not a fan - but u need him to to defeat despotar. There are only two "good" alternatives i.m.o. Heracross and Electrobuzz - but beeing weak to Earthquake or Rockslide when Facing Despotar is not a dream Scenario. Number 6 is feraligator: At first u would think it is a good Option... but hear me out. The movepools in this game are extremly competiv. (a lot of Coverage Moves). Beeing weak to electro, grass and fighting is a big deal. Many Pokemon know submission, or electropunsh and most fire Pokemon use Solarbeam. specially in the league it was very very hard to use... Further on the downside for feraligtaor you had to admit, that there are a lot of good Water Pokemon in the Game. (Blastoise, kingdra) I.M.O its hard to justify using it. Whats ur Opinion on my team?

I get that ducks are birds which is why Falker has a Golduck but come on, Golduck is more of a platypus than anything 😭

i couldn't beat whitney for nothing, i had to use a cheat in gameshark to beat her and continue my playthrough.. man those gym battles are tough.

Yeah, Whitney is quite the step-up compared to Bugsy. From my experience the next few gyms (up until Pryce) shouldn't be as tough as her since you will have more options, evolved Pokemon and better moves but they're still hard. I don't know if you've already seen them, but there are documents listing all the important battles available to download on the RomHacking and PokeCommunity Lunatic Crystal pages

I beat Whitney with my female Gyarados level 20

@@WcHDICE Gyarados at level 20 would know Tackle, Bite and Splash and Return that isn't max power, at 25 it would have Dragon Rage. Seeing as you can't use items there is no way Gyarados would have beaten this Whitney on her own, unless you mean Vanilla Crystal which is a completely different and much easier game
