Can we talk about Geeta real quick? I know shes weak but her team got a serious glow up in the DLC. She leads with Glimora and ends with Kingambit which is what fans wanted. Plus she replaced the useless gogoat and veluza with Chesnaught and Dragapult.

What's even more amazing is that her Dragapult has a far better build than Leon's. That says a lot given that even though Dragapult is Galar's resident pseudo, the Paldean champion does it far better than her Galarian counterpart ever did.

And the fact that her Chestnaught has its Hidden Ability, Bulletproof, makes it harder to use certain moves on it, like Sludge Bomb or Pyro Ball. My (Mighty & Unrivaled) Cinderace's Pyro Ball had no effect on it, which made it all the more challenging.

Man, looking back I didn't appreciate it then, but Sword and Shield really did have the best gym battles. The open air stadium with massive crowds cheering just can't be beaten. I didn't like dynamax but it's absolutely better than terastellzation. Ideally we would just have no gimmicks but at least dynamax was impressive.

@@Jay7707 With Nemona though, I got too over confident with my Tinkaton against her Quaquaval, who Terastallizes into a Water-type, cancelling her Fighting-type. My big mistake was definitely switching her over Meowscarada. We should be lucky her starter Pokemon don't use Hidden Abilities.

This might be an controversy statement but I was stuck on geeta for 3 days because her team was hard to defeat I don’t know if it was because I had meowscarada as my starter I see people that beat geeta on their first try had quaquaval as their starter and some were playing violet I was playing scarlet can anyone reply let me know if you lost to geeta atleast 1 or 2 times.

For me its kind of funny how they low cinthias pokemon level on platinum, cause after they saw what they done with her, it was like: "ok we kinda go too far with her team" I remenber as a kid arround 8 to 9 years old sooo frikking frustrated because cinthia pokemon had arround 10 levels over me and thats insane remenbering that the last trainers you see are arround 48 to 53 levels xd

She's probably the easiest champion to date, easier than Lance. At least in HGSS, my team made him look strong despite having 3 Dragonite on his team. It's interesting to me now we have more than 1 champion to face.

I feel like not many people give a frick about Iris. Iris is a very well done champion, with a team that surpasses even cynthia's. That friggin haxorus with outrage and focus sash made me ragequit at least 6 times. And we don't talk about challenge mode. Oh damn that is absolutely the hardest fight ever.

I actually feel the same way and I like Iris. Her team was so strong, that if I remember, I had to redo her more times than Cynthia because one of my Pokemon faints from her team.

I agree, but i really don't know the reason for archeops to be in her team. Aggron and Lapras maybe have similarities with the dragon type, but archeops? Fortunately in the rematch It goes away ti make space for salamence.

Yeah I love iris. Her theme is great and so are her choice of pokemon. On challenge mode she's one of the most powerful pokemon charecters. Also focus sash dragon dance haxorus on a champion team should be illegal.
