The palafin is DOPE. I do share other people's sentiment regarding lack of art rares in the set - regular ex's are fine and all but for the most part I'll basically be opening for the 1 SR/SAR and the pokeball/masterball holos. And the chances of me getting an SAR or masterball holo of something I actually want will be very low... I'll prob open 2 or 3 boxes to enjoy and call it a wrap.

I watched a bunch or box opening this morning. about 50 or so. And from what I can tell. Each box comes with 1 SAR which from what saw is just the pokemon ones! 1 ace spec, 3 pokeballs which 1 has a chance of being a master ball. (Not guaranteed) But lots of double hit boxes looks like the gold cards and trainer SRs only came in double hit boxes. And didn't take up the SAR spot.

I may have used up all of my luck with Shiny Star V and VMAX Climax. Ended up getting extremely lucky and got 3 from Shiny Star V and one from VMAX Climax. Crossing my fingers for that Eeveeultion god pack! Just seeing all rainbow borders alone when opening the pack would make me poop myself.

I'd rather have IR's over better looking reverse with texture and I think a lot of people do. Especially because it's only 1 SAR per 10 packs. Its just a preference tho

This set feels different than Shiny. I’ve got a bunch on preorder from a few suppliers in Japan but the last few weeks they’ve been selling out and prices have been going up. Super rare masterballs, pokeballs, eevees, waifus, this seems like Pokemon checking to see if they can just light the market on fire.

The master ball is not guaranteed. You can also get a pokemon SIR and a trainer SIR in the same box, not just a full art trainer or gold as the second hit. I watched the Chinese streamers for 3 or so hours yesterday and yeah Masterball not in every box. I myself couldn’t be happier about that because I don’t give a flying f**k about pokeball/master holos in place of AR’s, that was lame move however. I’m all about the SAR’s!! one guaranteed per box! I wonder why Pokémon is hyping up Prismatic so much. They must know it will create more fomo. Could it be they don't want us looking at Surging Sparks because reprints won't be coming anytime soon. Something tells me they will print a lot of Prismatic just like the Charizard UPC. Maybe they can't print both. Seems like they're not slowing down with the hype. Not very impressed with the way they decided to go with this set. It will work in Japanese. Guaranteed SAR with I’m assuming a solid chance at a Masterball. In English, SIR rate will probably be closer or better than SV Base, Paldea Evolved and Obsidian Flames. But unless it’s 1/10 packs, or 1 guaranteed/ETB, you can open ETBs with like 2-3 exs, and a reverse pokeball or two. If the rates are 1 SIR per ETB people will hate the easy pull rates. No winning either way. No IRs is a giant L. 151 stays the best Specialty set even with less total cool cards.

If Prismatic Evolutions does not have full Arts (Art Rares/Illustration Rares) like Terastal.... This will be a huge let-down and maybe the product will not sell at the high prices we have now. I got like $1500 in products, but now that I've been checking it... I don't like it as I did before :(
