They completely fucking numbed down anything you had to do at the endgame to a point where absolutely nothing you do really matters, because you just throw a shit ton of items at your Pokemon and you have the perfect Pokemon right away. Weeks and weeks of work you had to put in back then to get the perfect stats done with breeding and all absolutely doesn't fucking matter anymore. So no. Even if it wouldn't be a shitty, buggy mess with a shit ton of techincal problems in terms of graphics and FPS, it still wouldn't be anywhere close to the old games. It had nice things, but mostly it was just a dumbed down version for babies across the board.
