I do think PLA was slightly delayed, though. January or February was an odd launch window after all. I felt like TPC was aiming for a December release. The holiday season. Or the same launch along with BDSP (seeing that PLA was actually the remake of Gen 4, as BDSP was the remastered versions). But it was likely not ready at the time.

But in all honesty, I don't think calling them 'lazy' is fair. It's a corporate decision, at best. They shiny locked the Legendaries so that people do the shiny hunt in GO or SwSh instead. Heck, even BDSP. Corporate synergy and all. To boost profit for other titles. Snacksworth's Legendaries are basically added to include their data to your save file. Otherwise, you cannot transfer the Shiny from GO. 🤷🏻‍♂️ It's really not lazy if the code to enable Shiny is a super simple "Enable Shiny: Yes/No" line in programming. That means it's intentional. 🙄

Realistically I see that "leak" being wrong. BUT - Assuming Z-A actually does get delayed to 2026 AND that we don't have any console Pokemon games in the interim, I do wonder if that's going to cause longterm harm to the sales of the console games, to say the least. The company got their fans accustomed to a game every year, and it's showing (anecdotally at least) that the 2025 timeline with no mention of a 2024 game is leaving a bad taste in peoples mouths and there could be less interest in the games moving forward. That's not even considering what else would happen with the TCG and GO, where the fuel for fresh content (new Pokemon species) would be partly slowed down too. I just see the delay along with no other major games not being a good thing in really any way.

I don't think that Z-A will be delayed but I won't be mad if it does, it would be a refreshing change for pokemon. Not mad over it being delayed… I don’t want a scarlet and Violet repeat. Again, there are other things that can be played outside of Pokemon in the meantime at least. As much as I love Pokemon… scarlet and violet were the straw that broke the camels back in terms of my patients… I could excuse xy not having that much content…. However releasing a sun and moon remake a year after the main game instead of a DLC, getting another Gen 1 remake that is way more watered down than the FRLG (in terms of content, the graphics were great), Gen 8 not having the full dex even though it was still using Gen 6 models and the switch being a better hardware to run games and completely destroying the online multiplayer… Safe to say that I really am hoping that Gamefreak takes their time for z-a due to all of this…

It's not that hard to do some elite raids. If you actually go outside and leave your basement you'll find other people in populated areas with gyms to raid with, like go find a raid hour crew and then coordinate with them and do all the raids you want. I missed Mega Ray last year so I guess I'm one of the few people actually hyped for the Mega Ray raids because I have a hundo Rayquaza from 2019 I'd love to Mega and I desperately need candy for him as well.

Rumor is fake. Unova remakes didn't got scrapped because we were never getting it this year. We are not getting Unova remakes and we don't need August Presents for confirmation. Mewtwo wouldn't in Legends Z-A. Or any of the Hoenn legendaries. I don't think they will delay Z-A since they haven't delayed a pokemon game since DP. Personally, i rather they just cancel Legends Z-A. Legends style games is not how to do a pokemon game.

I hope that in the new game they add a difficulty setting, where the more difficult you play the game in, the better the rewards. S&V is too easy. That's been an issue with these new games. All the gym leaders are not challenging anymore. They need to implement a difficulty settings and a reward system.

I wish people would make up their minds. First they're upset that we aren't getting a new game this year, then they're happy. Then they start complaining about S/V again. I think one of the reason's that GameFreak has delayed Legends Z-A is because they were tired of everyone complaining about how bad S/V was. They say S/V came out too soon, so Nintendo remedies that by not releasing Z-A until 2025. Now people are complaining again at how they're mad that no mainline game is coming out in 2024 and only the TCG pocket is coming out this year. Everyone always finds something to complain about. It's so freaking annoying! Z-A will come out when it comes out. We can't control when new games are release. And tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if Z-A just comes out for the Switch 2. Lately Nintendo's most recent gaming consoles have only come out with 8-9 Pokemon Games a piece. The Nintendo Switch already has nine games for it. That's just my opinion on the matter. Yes Z-A will still be a Gen 9 Game just like Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee were, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Scarlet and Violet are the last Pokemon Games released for the original Switch and Z-A will be the first game for the Switch 2.

I don’t think legends z-a will be delayed since we don’t even have a release date for it just a target year for the game which is 2025 next year. I still believe that generation 10 will be in 2026 at the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. Plus the only people that know that legends z-a will be delayed is Nintendo, the Pokémon company, and gamefreak. I don’t think we will get no game in two years with no of pokemon. The longest we have gone I think is a year with no pokemon game. I don’t think that legends z-a wasn’t meant to be in the Nintendo direct that already happen. Since that Pokémon presents is probably going to happen. Until may and June passes with no information on a new game revealed then we probably won’t get a new game for 2024. The latest that a mainline pokemon game gets revealed is may and/or June and the earliest that a mainline pokemon is revealed is January or February. Legends z-a’s release date is either going to be in early or late 2025 and probably not mid 2025. Also depending on when legends z-a comes out next year will also probably determine when generation 10 will come out. Since legends z-a is probably the last of generation 9. We don’t know if a gen 5 remake is cancelled but I believe if or when there is a gen 5 remake then it would probably be during gen 10 or gen 11, as that would probably be time for a remake. Bdsp is turning 3 years old this year in 2024. The only thing for pokemon this year in 2024 that we know as of yet is that tcg pocket mobile game. At least I had the anime to keep me occupied and busy this year.

I'd say I called it before. Pokemon Legends ZA wasn't made with time. They only made a Cheap Trailer without actually making the game. Now they be making the game since the trailer so they have no idea what story it will be how what to Design for the Mega Evolutions at best in the barest of minimum they can Recycle the Mega Evolutions from X/Y to save time. But the Game won't be released by early 2025 more like November 2025, and that's by rushing it after all Prove is in the missing Game play. Isn't it odd for them to say here's a new pokemon Game with Zero Gameplays. Well not odd because they didn't make the game at all at the time.
