This will probably be my favorite pokemon game, probably because it was my first. I was definitely like 9 or 10 when I first played. I picked turtwig as my starter, got stuck at the part where all I needed to do was teach rock smash, by the time I made it to the elite 4 my level 74 torterra who I never swapped out got wiped out by the bug trainer and I was pissed. Ik this is random but thanks for the memories

I’m really curious how this run will look in the next couple of years, it’s so interesting how it’s gone from either infernape or Empoleon to now tentacruel and golduck. I’m assuming there won’t be any massive breakthroughs since other water types you can catch at that level kinda suck, like pelipper for example . But at least in diamond and pearl you could realistically tweak to other places such as stark mountain, so who knows if other Pokémon will be considered or whether it’s not possible in platinum idk but it’s super interesting
