If you’re really curious about the game, you ABSOLUTELY have to check out the Pokemon University Mode. Its a collection of distinct puzzles arrangements that must be eliminated with a set amount of moves. If you dont check out that mode, you will never understand why it has a cult following.

Compared to n64, combined blocks seem to break down faster and at a consistent rate on NSO. On N64, blocks would break down slower as the combos increase, giving players a chance to make freakishly large combos. This was especially the case on 3D mode. 3D mode on NSO, however, consistently breaks blocks at a rapid rate no matter the level, leaving little opportunity to react. The controls also seem more klunky and ridged (which was fine for the N64) still gonna play some more to see if I just gotta shake of the rust but that's my take from it so far.

There might be some age that shows through it maintaining that framerate during 3D mode. I don't think it plays too clunky since its mostly on the Dpad and besides lag, its pretty responsive as is.

Yeah 3D mode definitely lags on 2 player 3D mode especially. Me and my brother would have 30 minute slugfests on n64 but on NSO it doesn't lag out combos making matches much faster around 6mins at most

Pokemon Puzzle League. To be really honnest, I never play this game at the time, I watch the anime and play the game but it's when I've got my Everdrive 64 than I try it and it's a good puzzle versus game. BUT, that's not what I want to talk 😁. Obviously this game is based on the first 2 season of the anime with the Full english cast. What's funny it's PPL also have a german and a French version with all the cast from the animé. I don't gonna talk for the german cast because I'm not german and don't understand it, but for me who grow up with the French Belgium dubbing of Pokémon (it's a long story but to be short, long running anime are generally dub in Belgium) it's a nice way to appriciate this game 😁

Definitely give it a shot when you can man on the Everdrive, its definitely worth trying, and even though some puzzle games trump it, its worth a shot!

How do you figure Pokemon Snap was going to be the last game they release for the emulator? There is literally zero evidence to support this.
