This is probably my favorite battle theme from 3rd gen, so I had a lot of fun remixing it. :) I did some experimenting with percussion variation, so I hope you enjoy this slightly more aggressive remix.

AAAAH MY ARCEUS THAT INTRO! almost thought I clicked on the wrong video! love the style you went for with this, really emphasises the highs and lows that a gym battle holds - which feels so nostalgic since gyms aren't a thing in Gen 7. love the sound design choices and instrumentation, especially that lead at 1:34 and 3:39! and all these refs!!! I hear you Unova @ 2:10, and all the Tapu stuff @ 4:57, don't think you can sneak things past me! and with that bass I feel you could've easily snuck in Kalos's E4 theme too I have a feeling that the crazy finale synth is referencing something too, but I have no idea! well, that ends my spiel, keep up the great work as always~

Roxanne is neat, nothing special, a teacher and gym leader, kind of cute, she's ok among the hoenn gym leaders... but this image, I've never felt nervous about Roxanne till now, the smug look. If I didn't know better I would confuse her for the 8th gym leader or maybe even an elite 4 member because of this, dang. That music too it's boppin, it feels very fitting for her, maybe Watson with that bit of electrical sounds around 1:30, or the twins because it also sounds space like... but then around 2 it sounds on fire like for Flannery, DANG this fits all of the gym leaders doesn't it.

I still find it hard to get the fact ten whole years pass between RSE and B2W2. I was about to make a joke that some gen 3 waifus will be able to drink in Unova in B2W2 (I think Winona might even already be 21 in RSE), with Roxanne shying away and then Flannery's like: "Actually, I just turned 21" while in reality, maybe even Tate and Liza could drink by that time.
