and the alternative route boss is so much harder
i am not proud of the tactics i used for the alternative boss, but it was either this or to change my team. and i didn't want to change my team because i went through the whole postgame with it. we might be sinners but we are still a TEAM.
Personal Rules:
-Set Mode
-No Bag Items in battle
-No using Terrain Moves to overwrite the fields. Only natural transformations. Avoid Rainbow by Rain/Sun.
-Minimize team changes
-Minimize seed usage
-Minimize protect/destiny bond/perish song/counter/mirror coat/metal burst usage.

Anna's gauntlet is easier to deal with for me because I can change terrain and a Shedinja with Seed can wall the entire first battle. The Heart Swap on Magearna is wickedly smart. I like it!!

Yeah there are in general a lot of ways to make a strong glitch team. I really wanted to see if my existing postgame team could deal with it tho and fortunately it did.

Okay, I had a reply here where I could use three Shedinjas for each battle like this, but turns out Anna and Arceus have a Pokémon with Stealth Rock.

Honestly I didn’t feel like Lin’s gauntlet was that hard compared to some other fights, like Titania and Groudon, Mewtwo and Mew, Meloetta, or even Radomus and Gardevoir. On the other hand I wasn’t shy about trying whatever Ubers I fancied and brought a whole team of them to Lin. And also a level 87 Mimikyu for God.

Seeing Arceus reminds me of the time I played Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon six years ago. Recruited almost every single Pokémon (except for one) and explored almost every single dungeon. Then there’s the last one, the Destiny Tower, with Arceus waiting for me at 99F. I bring one Pokémon, whose stats are maxed out at 255, hoping that I could put in some work. But it didn’t. I got destroyed past 5F. The enemies were superbuffed and I did less damage while I took a lot of damage. The difficulty was heavily skewed in the AI’s favor. I haven’t touched this game since, so Arceus remains un-recruited. After watching this battle (three simultaneous battles without pausing), there may be a time where I would have to completely change my team than what I used the last couple days. I may consider myself a decent battler, but I think I could improve in some way. All in all, I’m glad you posted each and every single battle in post game. It makes me aware what I’m up against and to plan accordingly.

IIRC you can't recruit Arceus in PMD through normal means. In that particular dungeon all you get to see is a statue of it. And as a reward you get an orb.

So essentially , Zekrom route you fight Lin since she does not die afte the elite four ? Meaning on Reshiram route + doing the correct choices with Anna leads to this fight after the post game ? Or is Lin alive as well

Zekrom/Reshi route is part of it but there’s other decisions you need to make as well. Like saving the all the cops in beryl, Letting saphira get captured in the house among other things

For the Anna Route, I believe the following conditions need to be met: Complete the cop quest before fighting Ace and the third PULSE Tangrowth. Beat the first Solaris battle. Don’t fight Sigmund at Yureyu HQ. Go against Sigmund at the Belrose Manse, leading to Saphira getting kidnapped. In the decision to side with either Elias or Radomus, choose Radomus. Don’t give Blake the Ruby Ring. Go on the Reshiram Route.

Nice strategy. I used a torrent greninja with a focus sash, primal groudon a magearna a mega Rayquaza as a sack, a carbink and a Specialy defensive Xerneas to win. First u don't kill the Lycanrock and attack it with waterpulse afterwards finish it of with watetshuriken. This will ensure that the mawile will target you with suckerpunch in the second battle allowing you to taunt the necorzma dusk mane. Then you sack the mega rayquaza to the incomming meloeta, set up a trickroom with carbink and sweep the team with magearna. Place Groudon as your second pokemon in your party beforhand. As mentioned taunt the ultra necrozma turn 1 and klick eruption with primal groudon. this will kill the mawile and more often then not kill the necrozma. Then kill the rest of the team with dark pulse greninja, magearna and groudon. Third battle, set up rocks with groudon and sack it. Set up 3 geomancies with xerneas and win.

Not wanting to change team members is a nice challenge, but I'm kinda bummed, since I liked seeing your fights to get ideas for my teams haha, since you always played around the field + enemy team, instead of playing around your team's strengths. I cant figure out how your magearna is under speeding the T-tar while holding an amplified rock. Ttar should be slower so it should move before magearna while under trick room.
