ykow even though i stand by my opinion of the music, there are some pretty nice standouts! libra town specifically starts off pretty weird but gets pretty catchy near the middle part

I enjoyed it a lot. the art, animation, scripting/humor and pacing are all really well done for your first shot at this! the video doesn't drag anywhere in terms of pacing, which is good. watch the audio leveling next time though! sometimes the bgm can get a little loud and drown out your voice. keep up the good work!

I have access to a free library that I believe actually has Fossil Fighter so I may have to check it out! My favorite non-Pokémon thing was the Chao garden in Sonic where you raise and evolve little guys if that is even comparable. I have been waiting like 20 years for them to make a new one 😅

Pretty good video but man you gotta lower the volume on the sound effects. Your audio was off so I'd turn up the volume then my ears would get blasted by a sound effect.

Bro did not call Dragon Warrior Monsters a ripoff when it released 3 days before the first Pokemon did. Dragon Warriors Monsters is based off the monster arena section of Dragon Quest 3 which came out in 1988 and Pokemon ripped the monster designs off from DQ3 that were used in the Dragon Warriors Monsters games.

i mean.. while doing my very light research pokemon red/green orignally released in japan in February 27, 1996 while dqm in japan was September 25, 1998 and even in north america it was released in 2000 (with gameboy color compatibility too) i am aware it was already a thing in dq3 but let me have this one come onn :3

Not a rip off but A game that is a monster collector that is different from Pokémon I’d recommend is Digimon world next order, it’s not a normal rpg, it functions more as a virtual pet, like in battles the Digimon fight on there own and you can give commands but it’s more of if you want it can be very difficult for new comers cause it has a lot of strange mechanics and you only have two Digimon that die and get new partners
