As I person who bought violet, I acknowledge that the primal forms and Koraidon's expressiveness are better than its counterpart. In violets defense, I feel like it's a bit easier to explain the mons coming from the future, and Miraidon doesn't look as awkward moving around as Koraidon does.

I prefer Koraidon, mainly because it's quite literally standing up for itself. When the Koraidons first interact, our Koraidon stays on all fours and is submissive, but in the later battle when it uses it's battle form it has to stand up. The same effect doesn't follow with Miraidon

What? Legit miraidon stands on all 4 before transforming but after he transfrom he gets this stoic loom while levitating making him Hella badass with the bad ass lightning design on his head and he gets this amazing neon yellow glow he literally looks electrifying in his battle form

@@JackofallTrades1360 nah miraidon fit better with the story with the future pokemon and the "ai" proffesors, you having to fight these menacing robotic pokemons that don't really have any emotions bc they are your enemies. Just the overall hostile energy that radiates from these formidable future pokemons is absolutely insane It fits so well bc they do seem very villainous, miraidons battleform is absolutely fire, the narrative with violet is well suited. miraidon with all the futuristic aspects, ai proffesors, pokemons (they still look badass) literally everything just fit so well with violet proffesor turo also looks Hella menacing he seems more the true villian. Definitely more intimidating then sada imo miraidon character despite being robotic which I don't think has robotic emotions just more of a metalic design, he displays so much emotion and character, a really caring kind hearted pokemon despite this narrative of "oh miraidon has no emotions cause it looks robotic" (when both scarlet and violet legendaries do the same thing except different designs which is why I don't say stuff like koraidon has no character or emotion when they both have the same personality) 99 percent of the time the theme of miraidon matches so well with the main storyline proffesor turo loving the future and creating an ai version of themselves, and the iron paradox forms looking so intimidating just does wonders when making a coherent storyline

I really like more koraidon than miraidon. I dont know why but i feel like korai is much more expressive; for example when the dons are deciding helping you against houndoom, miraidon looks like he is just thinking it where as koraidon seems to struggle.

Tbh it is a robot. Not like robot's are gonna achieve a perfect replication of living beings' emotions. I do agree that it could have been a bit less clunky by maybe flying in more directions instead of just moving straight forward with its jets, or landing with its jets as if it hit a solid surface, which kinda shows they didn't program its landing specifically to itself as it should have hovered down. It was probably reused. Maybe its jets could rotate so it could move more freely. In regards to the expressions, it only has a digital interface and a few screws and bolts to work with lol

I can agree on the expressions, but not the movement. It's movements are much more streamlined and smooth compared to Koraidon's. Koraidon seems to slightly waddle around and look human-like, which doesn't seem right for a giant lizard. As for Miraidon, it seamlessly floats around and its actual riding animation can keep up with itself and look more smooth while moving, which fits with its futuristic machine theme.

you get me stuck on the expressions. i've examined both the Koraidon and Miraidon scenes (from the cave all the way to the end game) and the expressions are the exact same. they have different designs so of course it would seem that way, and there are about two scenes total in which they do something SLIGHTLY different, but other than that they're the exact same. at first i thought it was true but after examining the timing and facial movements i can confirm: there's no difference. at all. they're both expressive. it's like saying that if you made your character female, it would have more expression and Male would have less. it makes Zero sense. if you're about to use the robot card on me: i'd like to say that Miraidon is still considered a Pokemon. it also has a sense of smell, taste, FEAR, and any other sense of emotion. it's something of a lifeform. and realistically, we don't even need to think about it. there've been other pokemon that look robotic (the Magnemite Evo line) and they're still classified as pokemon (Pocket Monster) if that's not convincing then it's easy: Miraidon is a pokemon. pocket monster. monster-robot. cyborg.

@@Myyke I think it is another case them focusing on 1 version while swapping out the sounds and Pokémon placements of the others but they sometimes forget some of the things that they needed to swap out. Tornadus having Thundurus's cry in Black and Totem Raticate having Gumshoos' cry are what they also forgot to fix

Koraidon is more organic and has to struggle to think, it has emotions and needs time to properly process them. Miraidon is a robot and can easily make calculations, the fact that it even shows emotions is a testment to sentient AI, especially when by all odds, it was better off leaving the player behind, but chose to save the human that is nursing it back to its prime anyway

Koraidon can’t use the wheels because they aren’t wheels. The upper “wheel” is a flotation, air filled sac. The lower “wheel” is the tail of when it’s in battle form, but curled up.

I know I'm like late in all but might as well just say my opinion.. Overall I really like both of the legendaries, though I am a scarlet player and haven't played violet(planning to), by the cut scenes I do like Koraidon *SLIGHTLY* bit more than Miraidon- (design wise) I really love Koraidon because I like to go for more "cutesy" kind of teams (no clue why)- Miraidon gives off a lot more cool and epic vibe which I love but I do like cutesy more! But in PvP wise, I've seen the way Miraidon battles and it is more of my PvP style than Koraidon(if that makes any sense). But I really do love the both of them a lot I just got attached to Koraidon 💀💀
