I never understood; why does Team Rocket want Ashs pikachu so badly they basically follow him around half a dozen regions just for this...i mean its not bad but its not super OP...Ash has never won a Pokemon League and it got beaten by a Level 5 Snivy once. They could easily find something better to steal right *cough* Pauls pkmn *cough* or even catch something better; they had the opportuiny to obtain a Rotom once that only failed because Ash and this friends were there, if they could steal it and then train it up it would definitely be more powerful than any Pikachu could ever be (especially considering Ash doesnt evolve it). If you could make a Pokemon Theory on why Ashs pikachu is so valuable, or special...that would be really really nice. Thank you Proto!

My personal theory is that it's not so much a matter that Ash is a particularly good trainer or that his Pikachu has any good stats or special itself, but a matter of their pride. Before Team Rocket ran into Ash, they were legit criminals and they do sometimes have good schemes and Ash just happens to be there. But they were put to shame by a 10 year old with a Pikachu, so they want to get revenge by taking his Pikachu and giving it to Team Rocket.

Would be nice if this could legit be explored. But unfortunately the only answer can be... anime logic. The Pokemon anime is full of plotholes and things that don't make sense. Though I do remember someone coming up the good idea that Giovanni set Jessie/James/Meowth this silly goal, only so they don't bother him too much. Heck, they stopped going after Pikachu and became more professional at one point in the gen 5 episodes. Perhaps Team Rocket just have low standards . But I do agree on the idea that it's a matter of pride. Team Rocket were mentally broken after Ash single handedly put a stop to their scheme in Viridian back in episode 2.

ImperialPiGaming Now let me challenge you to that theory a bit. If it's a Carbon Monoxide molecule, that means there are 2 atoms: Carbon, and Oxygen, creating CO. The masses are not that different, however there's a big and tiny head on Weezing. And since there are only 2 atoms, there should only be 2 "balls" on Weezing. but there's a third "ball" that isn't a head that's still connecting the heads together through bonds. Explain your theory a bit. I really like your thinking. Though what you say makes sense. If Koffing is just Carbon, it is less toxic than Carbon Monoxide (Weezing). So when it evolves, it becomes that insane toxic.

Very interesting theory, Proto. It's quite dark for a children's game isn't it? Might make one think is Pokémon really for kids? After all, we have had guns, Pokémon that symbolises cancer, orphaned baby Pokémon, a man with fake breasts, Pokémon that steals children away, Pokémon that steals your soul... the list is endless. Mega Wheezing (Poison/Fire) It retains Levitate, which keeps it safe from doubly effective Ground-type moves. The stats that are boosted the most are its Speed and Special Attack, but its Defence gets the least attention. Mega Wheezing gains an extra head, and changes to a black-and-red colour scheme (violet-and green if Shiny)

It’s like weighing a balloon, it has mass but as long as it is buoyant due to its internal store of helium it will not weigh anything. Without that gas it’s easy to measure the container. Of course the Pokédex is highly inaccurate and I would assume the conflation of mass and weight to be another error.

Proto understands that gas is less dense than air and that's why the Pokemon floats, he was using Gravity as a "wall" which prevents the Pokemon from floating off earth. At least I think that's his POV, not taking sides just saying what I think he meant.

Pokemon theory: How come in the anime, when Ash and co. defeat/lose to other trainers, no one is awarded any prize money? I can understand that the writers want to keep it kid-friendly and not promote wagering, but it's a major aspect of the video games...which kids play. Just curious.

here's a theory for your next theory video - are floatzel's and buizels humans that did terrible things to they're Pokemon that made arceus mad that he made them become Pokemon. Whenever I look at buizel/floatzel's ability I always think of the story Noah's ark, because buizel and floatzel are two different Pokemon and Noah's ark had two of every animal and Pokemon is based off animals.

Weezing is an awesome Pokémon to use. If you want to make a really great defensive core featuring Weezing pair him with Umbreon. They resist all of each other's weaknesses and Umbreon is Immune to Psychic type moves which are Weezing's only weakness.

I got a burning Pokemon theory is Kalos related to Hoenn,if you look at Max and May from the anime their names end with the letter's X and Y(Mind Blowing)and Kalos and Hoenn are the only regions you need four badges to get to the fifth gym.Also in the Pokemon xy Series there are three traveling companions with Ash just like in the Advanced series.

Weezing was poisonous and coughing a lot back when it was a Koffing. Maybe Koffing hate each other so being two heads as a Weezing makes them upset. I'm reminded of Doduo and Dodrio by this. I wonder if there's a Pokemon theory about those Pokemon? I can't think about any other than... where does the third head come from when Doduo evolves into Dodrio? I guess it's a similar situation to Koffing here. Except, Koffing can combine into a Weezing, just like Magnemite into Magneton and Doduo doesn't do that. Pokemon sure are strange. A shame we don't get quite such original Pokemon as we did back in first gen. Nowadays it's animals and everyday items. Though props to Greninja, we can never hate a ninja frog.

This is a odd question. What are gary's extra badges. in one of the gen 1 episodes ash said how many badges he has but gary pulled out his badges and he had 10. How did he get the extra 2 and who are they from? And please don't bring up the whole thing with gen 5 games and sequels.

There are a couple of extra gym areas in the anime that aren't in the game. If you notice by watching the anime ( I don't have specific instances because I haven't studied this extensively) there are extra towns and areas that are not available in game and allow for the trainers to not only get more than the require 8 badges, but to pick and choose which badges they want to get.

Grimers create little sludge piles wherever they go,sometimes these sludge piles harde, to make bumpy purple egg that soon hatches into a koffing, the koffing starts swallowing oxygen and creates high doses of Carbon Dioxide,but doing this also requires some carbon dioxide itself,making the koffing grow bigger,the cycle repeats until the koffing is to big to breath in any more,so it starts making a new body to hold the carbon,but also causing pain to the newly created weezing,soon the new body grows a face due to poisoning from the carbon.The Weezing then grows another body,but before it gets too big,the original koffing enduring so much pain with two heads chews the third head off,which creates a Koffing egg.and then the cycle repeats.

Hey there, Proto! I have a theory i would like to possibly submit, that can supposedly answer the question of Ash still being ten years old. The theory goes, that even though years go by, that time simply applies differenly in the Pokemon World. I have several pieces of evidence to support this theory i have some evidence, such as the seasons in the Pokemon World(That could be a theory,'why do he seasons never change?') never change unless there is a particular route that has changed weather(That could be a theory, 'why do certain routes have different weather compared to the rest of the region?'), or how the inhabitants of this world never seem to actually call the Pokemo World Earth, or maybe how time itself in their world is controlled by Dialga? There are several things in my opinion that point to the fact that the Pokemon World Ash inhabits is different from our world, and in that world, time smply flows at a different pace. And for those that would use Unova's changing seasons in the games to prove me wrong, we already know the anime and games take place in VERY different worlds. So there. I suggested my personal theory, "Time flows different?" I suggested a theory on, "Why do certain routes have different weather compared to the rest of the region>" And i sgguested a theory on, "Why does the weather remain warm year round in the pokemon world?" I especially want to hear your opinion on my theory about time in the pokemon world effecting Ash's age. Whether you just comment on this, or do a video for it(The latter would be cooler).

gym leaders and the elite 4 battle a lot of trainers so how are their pokemon not a really high level? I know it would make the game insanely hard, just a thought.

I don't think team rocket created weezing but if they did they have my thanks as weezing in one of my two favorite poison types, the other being Nidoking. (I like that utility, especially during play throughs), ofcourse if I can ever get Nintendo to accept my personal creation of a fire/poison type that would easily make my top 2 into a top 3.
