I’ve always loved this concept. Diancie is one of my favs because of how it being a mutated version of a species makes it like- entirely a new, mythical Pokemon. If was already great when you did Cometa, but this is even better.

I really like how instead of a lot of fan-designs that mash random elements with animals, you take time to find inspiration and find actual inspiration for the designs, which makes them stand out a lot more in my opinion and not random thoughst you had in bed.

I think Beheeyem Prime should have insectlike compound pupils, as a sort of pattern for its sunglasses. Bumps up the "alien"-ness, separates it more from regular Beheeyem, and flexes its superiority over other Beheeyem by referencing the "hivemind" trope. It's already my favorite design of these three, though!

The Castform to Overkast idea is a neat idea. I wonder what evolutions for the other weathers there could be... Sun form evolves into Droughtun (Drought & sun) Ice form evolves into Hailow (Hail & snow) Sandstorm form (if it ever exists) evolves into Sandewind (Sand & wind) This would mean renaming Overkast into Thunderain (Thunder & rain), but I love the idea of Castform having evolutions to make it more useful, like weather Eeveelutions. They could be called Castformulas.

Happy birthday, TG7! You made the Beheeyem legendary look cooler than the actual one, still making it alien like with the trench coat like design. Making it look mysterious like you mentioned it. Also, I felt like Castform could have been like the recent legendary/mythical Pokémon that evolve. It has the potential due to its ability. Your redesign (which is cute and energetic looking) makes me wish for it to happen due to how it seems kinda important due to the events of the Hoenn games. The all 100 stats are reasonable due to your explanation as prior mythicals had all 100 stats (with a BST of 600). The ancient Ambipom form does work well and I like the various colors around it too which makes it creative like you described it.

holy shit.... castforms legendary is literally something i envisioned it would evolve into, i liked to imagine that it needed to level up at least once in each of it's varius forms which would lead it to mastering them and being able to go in and out of each of them as it uses a move of that typing, it would also unlock a form for other weather types as well(like a sandstorm version that's used for when a ground type move is used). and what you drew, is basically a one to one compared to what i envisioned, cloud limbs, protruding eye pattern, bubble shape, they are literally the same...... amazing

All of these designs are awesome. I love keeping the men in black theme for Beeheyem Prime and it just looks cooler than Beeheyem, Overkast is adorable and heroic looking and I love the name, Artisaru is very clever and actually cool looking as opposed to Ambipom. It kind of looks like in Artisaru’s size comparison that its fist is your fist (I doubt that’s what you were going for) and it made me chuckle. Your lore is always really well thought out. Happy Birthday! I absolutely adore this idea and feel like it could be its very own set of series. How about instead of a simpler looking mythical Pokémon, make them as detailed as a box legendary, or even turn legendaries into non-legendaries, or even ultra beasts! For the next part, I would really like to see Arcanine (The “Legendary” Pokémon) become legendary, or a cloned Mareep(Like the scrapped beta Pokémon) made by team rocket to test their cloning system before using it on mew and created the ultimate two-headed sheep monster.

Hey Ron, love the collab Pokemon art design video series, potential idea: you know how in Jurassic park they say that they filled the genome gaps in the dinosaur DNA with DNA from frogs or something, what if Pokemon fossils were revived like that, ancient Pokemon with traits from the pokemon in the present. This might give the chance for some forgotten mons to get a bit of attention too, may be, eg: an ancient walrus or something that looks somewhat like a dewgong or poliwrath/ politoed/seismitoad dinosaur etc

Speaking of regular Pokémon having legendary relatives, I always thought the Numel and Wailmer lines were somehow connected to Groudon and Kyogre, even before ORAS made Groudon's fire aspect more obvious. Back in the Gen 3 times, they shared signature moves. As for Rayquaza, well, it and Salamence were the only Pokémon that learned Fly on their own. Clearly the sky deity has blessed Bagon with metamorphosis.

Overkast makes so much sense! But, I see it more as an evolution and less mythical. Perhaps it cannot change forms, but evolves only when Castform hits a certain level in a certain form, much like Burmy and Wormadam

Love Artisaru! You excells at designing pokemon that takes inspiration from real animals! The way you analyse the animals anatony, habitat and lore, elevates (*in my opinion) your animal realstick designs to top-tier level! (*note, my no. 1 hated animal is monkeys), so for someon to make an monkey design i really fanzy, and even would love to have on my personal pokemonteam is quite special ;) The two first pokemondesigns was too Much humanoid to my taste. I think the first original pokemons "hat" looked more like an mushoorm to me, so it looked more like an alien. that smaller hat, made it more human looking. Happy b-day to you ;)

Being very honest, while I loved Overkast's design, I still feel wasted potential from how you just entirely scrapped the forms. You could have made it have an ability similar to stance change, but for weather, or simply a few different head shapes depending on which form cast form evolved from.

Those two mons are already treated as special pokemon within the games, and when I was a kid I thought they WERE legendaries or mythicals haha.
