I like what did with Lusamine here. She's still insane enough to freeze Pokemon, still nearly kills Nebby, and she's still not mother of the year, but she is still somewhat reasonable and knowledgeable of her children's concerns (Heck, the reason she fights you is because she wants ease her children's doubts). It's a classic 'doing the wrong thing for the right reason' kind of deal this time around. I like Pokemon Kill la Kill, but this was definitely a good substitute.

So true. Essentially, Mohn's disappearance has her trying to handle everything herself, to the point where she's convinced herself that everything she does is right. Long story short, she's biting off more than she can chew, even if she chooses not to acknowledge that. Of course, she and Guzma get their reality check when Necrozma attacks and defeats them easily.

I prefer this lusamine to the one in sun and moon she actualy learned her leason in this game in sun and moon the closest thing to change is her final line of: "lilly...when do you become so beautiful..." witch makes me think that she didnt change at all and she just saw lilly in a more "beautiful" way then before While in ultra sun and moon it is very clear at the end she regrets treating her children like things and opening the ultra wormhole and letting necrozma come to alola tl:dr ultra sun and moon did wonders for her character arc

oh my god! that team was sooooo strong. i think it was a lot worse in the original sun and moon games, though. i fell in love with battling lusamine. she's such a breath of fresh air. her team is crazy strong, and we've never had a female boss before. i swear to god through - clefable's moonlight, lilligant's petal dance, and bewear's defense stats were the death of me. lusamine's team is perfect in the first games, though. her clefable was crazy strong. it's moveset was killer. cosmic power, moonlight, moon blast, and metronome with magic guard ability. i never realized clefable was so strong. her clefable metronomed seed flare and shadow force, which really caught me off guard. her themes are amazing. i love the japanese influence in her battle music. my favorite battles by far.

The first Lusamine battle I did in ultra moon was both stupid and funny. So, I was about to defeat her until one of her Pokemon I think it was the lopunny but the last Pokemon I had was lopunny too, and I don't know how it happened. I think it was just friendship but I accidentally clicked on a move that does not do a lot of damage but I made it faint. I was on the floor dying because of how dumb of a fight it was.
