Frankly, I think it was an absolute crime that none of the Gen VI Pokémon, excluding Diancie, received a Mega Evolution. The Starter Pokémon, Pseudo-Legendaries, Legendaries, and a select handful Gen VI Pokémon should've received Mega Evolution. And I don't care if the argument is that Mega Evolutions were made to make older Pokémon more viable. Mega Evolution was introduced in Gen VI, and in my humble opinion, a gimmick added in a certain generation of Pokémon should also give the Pokémon from that same generation that gimmick.
