It's a shame that the Generations episode didn't have that detail, or honestly a lot of what really made his scene so emotional. Like, there was no build-up, it was in the sky, & then half a second later in his hands. It didn't zoom in on his eye, he didn't fall to his knees because of the overwhelming emotion, no brief & subtle silence inbetween "Floette..." & "It's been 3,000 years..." And on top of it all, the line was delivered like it was just a sentence. There was barely any emotion in it. Really disappointed, honestly.

I think my favorite PG moment was Drayden standing his ground... purely because his voice actor Michael McConnohie really knows how to deliver his lines. He has a kind of weight to his voice that just makes you pay attention the moment he speaks... I had chills from that "I can certainly empathize with some of what you say, but I cannot ever forgive the way you reject everything else!".

I've played every generation since Ruby and Sapphire. I've played the Mystery Dungeon games, and the Ranger games. But I can say for a fact that this is the first Pokémon game to make me legitimately cry at the end. Like, full-on sobbing. Part of that may have been due to lack of sleep, but still...
