Glad to see you’re back! Personally, I think the idea of restarting the game after a whiteout and staying extremely faithful to a level cap makes more sense for a regular run where you would have a full team by the time you get to Viola and probably a type advantage as well. With a run like this, it would just be annoying, especially if you do EV training. The whole point of the game is to have fun, and maybe challenge yourself a little bit.

I’m glad to be back, and it’s good seeing some familiar names in the comments! You make some good points. I would be more likely to restart if it changed my encounters. I actually want to do a Nuzlocke where I do that but can’t use repeats across attempts. THAT would be crazy.

My favorite “villain” team is team star in Scarlet/Violet. Not only are they tough when you come in at their level, but their story line is actually compelling

I knew I could count on you to comment 😂. Team Star is very cool. Their bases are a bit repetitive though, and I HATE the Starmobiles. But their story is so compelling that I’m willing to overlook them.

@@BerryNerdCorner my favorite moment from my current play through of Scarlet was when I accidentally stumbled into the dark camp from the cliffs above and I got a text box saying that if I wanted to raid the camp I needed to ring the doorbell like a normal person. I don’t remember the exact wording but I laughed so hard!!!

Nice! Honestly, my philosophy is just to play how you want. Make your own rules, change them as you want. The arrogance to think you can impose your own preferred rules on someone else is baffling to me 😂. Especially when I lay out all the rules at the beginning of the video.
