Bro your tips are gold. I'm a new concrete contractor and many of your tips align with stuff I do. Going out and giving estimates takes up much of my time so I've quickly learned to automate as much as I can to not lose too much of my time. I have to filter out serious homeowners from people who are just price-shopping that waste contractor's time and many things you said were very good points.

Love you videos! Love you sharing so much valuable info. I bought my first car selling first sets of Pokemon in High School then fell out of it. Got back in recently and i remembered how to ride this TCG bike but bikes have changed in features and I am stoked about it. I started on TCGPlayer and have done very well. Just now got accepted onto WhatNot to supplement some business but don't want to stop there so your vudeos are not only getting me info but keeping me pumped and motivated. I own a 21 year old photography businesses and freelance for Canon but am loving adding this into it. Keeping busy keeps my anxiety, depression and Schizophrenia symptoms down. Thank you again! Finally, the first minute or so of this video exactly said what I thought while watching all those other youtubers' video's! It doesn't really matter if you want to start a pokemon card business or something else as these tips are applicable on most situations. I shall subscribe upvote and watch more of your video's. So many people get stuck on the first thing : "I can't start until" Just try it, if you fail so be it, you learn from those mistakes and hopefully learn from them!

I just started my own LLC this year. Started breaking on whatnot. Started February 9th and have 185k in sales right now. Some days are slow and I feel like a failure, but it does pick back up. I quit my full time job getting paid 30 an hr to run my business full time. It's alot of work, but worth it in the end.

As always appreciate the videos. Can you talk about how you survived the first year of taking “junk” product before getting decent deals? Did you just go into debt betting you can make enough eventually? Did you have enough income/savings to eat the initial 5k+ on the ex purchases, etc..

I am from Europe and use shipping forwarders in Japan and the US. It causes a lot of problems because everyone thinks I want to scam them most of the time when a transaction is blocked I can solve it by just simply calling the creditcard company explain to them I use a shipper and they mark the transaction with a different shipping address as safe since I identified the address and myself. But some businesses do not want to do it nor do they want to ship outside of their country. That's too bad.

I recently just got my online comic store into LLC form and began talks with distributors. I did get approved by one and as far as I can see I don't really have a minimum order amount. However, not sure I can use them just yet because comic books are expensive even when bought in bulk.

I found a great supplier in japan who I successfully negotiated with but now I feel bad for doing it. I havent even started yet and his prices were already way better than anyone elses list. I did spend 8000 on my initial order and he even offered additional pre order items that I took him up on so maybe he didnt take it as disrespect but for the foreseeable future i will just compare lists and not haggle for a few dollars each box if his list is already cheaper.

Pro tip they have special museum cards that everyone else wants. Try to sell em to jap/china if you can find buyers. A friend of my is doing that as side ting.

Awesome video. Only thing I would like to recommend since it is cardboard like you mentioned, is to keep floods in mind and ALWAYS keep your investment raised off the ground. Water breaks can and will happen, and it would be a dang shame to have full boxes go to waste. Unless your insurance will cover replacing your product, then fully disregard me.

I have some other videos on the subject but ultimately we just contacted Japanese sellers thru Instagram. Found them by following various hashtags like “Japanese Pokémon cards” and just emailed everyone until we found a cool guy - simple
