To follow up on your viewers question about eBay. We don’t make much money off singular item sales, but the multiples have a great margin. I look at the singular item sales as free advertising to get people to our storefront. So far, in a year of selling on eBay we are averaging about 35 customers per month coming to our store. A good percentage of these people are returning customers. eBay is a great way to get started and get your name out there, but is definitely a slow grind in the beginning.

That Charizard box is hilarious. When it launched I saw loads of Poketubers who'd had promotional boxes shilling it and going on about how good the figurine is etc and I just looked at it and thought "the figuring looks cheap and this is expensive". Now I see it still everywhere on the shelves!

Very thoughtful video with great insight, thank you! Is there a potential part 3 video of starting your own pokemon card business down the road? 😊

one thing that pokemon as a fad has going for it over many others that have died out (like other really old trading cards that no one would want anymore, like the three stooges), is that there are still young audiences for it always being renewed, and as long as that continues it'll remain popular. also, because it is a trading card game that is also growing in popularity still, it has another big advantage over cards that were only collectibles that may have lost their value.

Two quick questions: How do you logistically receive pallets (get them in your basement, do you pay the extra fee for residential), and should I copy/paste the same content on all social media channels, or have different “themes” for each?

He had this house built on his purchased property, so I'd assume he factored in enough space for a large delivery truck to pull up and drop off without issue

PokeCloe and PokeDean are based in the UK which isn't a part of EU anymore. Also from my research the problem I've found with importing into the EU is that we have to pay 25% in taxes ontop of the entire purchase and if the order is above about 190 USD then you also have an 2.7% import fee. Just some informations for people out there in EU

I always buy a box for myself if I want to rip packs. SEPARATE from my inventory. I've never once opened a box i bought with the intention to hold and make money in the future and honestly, it's hard! lol. Especially those nights where you had too much to drink and want to rip packs lol.

I bought 3 ETBs that I was gonna hold and it was ripped by the end of the day lol.

One thing to mention is ebay is now free to sell, so no fees at all for private sellers. So could be a good place to sell pokemon cards for new businesses
@pokene_pokemonАй бұрын
I think that’s UK only right?

@@pokene_pokemon It must be, hopefully it comes to the US site soon!
