Poker Rooms in Las Vegas, My Favorites

I don't have one poker room I play in. I play in a bunch. Here are my reviews and why I like the 8 poker rooms I frequent the most.

Like someone else said in the comments, the Wynn room is in the Encore. I’m 100% sure because I’ve played there several times this year. During the pandemic the Encore was closed during the middle of the week so the poker room was moved into the Wynn. When things reopened the room was moved back to Encore. Maybe that’s why you were getting different answers.

I quit playing Cesar’s a couple of years ago because they always ran short game tables. They would open a new table when half the room had open seats. Also half the room were locals try to get Diamond status and never played unless they had the nuts.

Yeah it's hit-or-miss, "miss" more of the time, but when it's good it's very good.

Resorts world is slow, but the room is nice. It's randomly good when conventions are in town. Free play is dope also.Wynn is good, but a lot of player regs. But occasionally, some great whales.

Resorts is very nice. I went twice last year to check it out because it was new. It's just far. I'd rather drive South Point to MGM via I-15 than Bally's to Resorts through Strip traffic.

Placement of Horseshoe with the redo and recent opening? Is Sahara considered?? seems nice, but out of the way-- inconsistent games? These are mostly on the Strip-- others still? Red Rocks/ GVR? still have poker rooms? Golden Nugget used to be on my short list-- Flamingo is gone, I believe.

I prefer the temp room and the old room in Bally's to the new, current room. I go to Sahara sometimes. GVR doesn't have poker anymore. Red Rock does. Flamingo doesn't.

sad to hear PH closed their poker room.. i enjoyed it when i would wander up n down the strip, hunting either a tourney, or a cash game.. my fave, has been Venetian.. hearing a lot about the Wynn ( never played there ).. and never bothered with the far end of the strip for Poker.. may have to revisit them--MGM/Mandalay..

Yeah, try them. The Monorail has stops at MGM, Bally's, Flamingo, Harrah's. And there's a tram that stops at Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay. Getting around to a bunch is doable.

Is there an easy way to tell which conventions are where? What are your favorite/ most overlooked convention times so far?? What's the app/ website that has real time table reports? -- what is it?? all, or most rooms?

I go mostly off word of mouth. If the rodeo counts as a convention, that's the best for poker. Bravo and Poker Atlas give real time poker game information.

Have to disagree with this list, Wynn the best room by far in Vegas, Resorts world is my second then Aria. Enjoying the vlogs though! Keep up the good work!

I haven't been to Wynn/Encore since 2017. I went to Resorts twice last year to check it out. Both are far from other rooms and I casino hop a lot. Mandalay, MGM, Aria, Bell, Ballys are all fairly close, especially considering the Monorail and trams.

wynn pokerroom is at encore. Worse than the old one, but still ok. You're missing out on the nugget but I see why it's less convenient for you.

I went to the Nugget two times last year. Yes, it's not near anything else. Same with Resorts. Made two trips there but it's easier to walk Aria/Bellagio/Ballys/Caesars quickly.
