So, two plumbers, five turtles, a giant plant monster and an alien parasite walk into a bar. And then the parasite kicks their collective asses at Poker :P Anyway, I’m super glad this track is finally up. I was very curious as to what it would sound like, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Once again, the use of motifs is clearly Undertale inspired, but the Mario references remain in the foreground, and the track still remains its own entity as a result. Honestly, I wish more “Undertale meets X” AUs would follow the modern Undertoad’s example. Anyone can swap out a game’s cast. But to rework a universe to reflect the themes of another, while still remaining true to its roots? These tracks truly do reflect the AU; like the project they’re made for, they’re only getting better and better ^_^
