I... did not expect this to end on such a somber note. A surprise, to be sure... but a welcome one. That aside, the rest of the Q&A was just as fantastic! Had a small fan freak-out moment at finally hearing everyone’s voice blips (Luigi having his game voice and Mario having his ever-classic Super Show voice was a nice touch), and the writing just keeps getting better and better. Here’s to five years of an ever-evolving tribute to two fantastic franchises, and hopefully more to come :) Oh and _also:_ The Gaster glitches gave me Don’t Forget vibes, and as a result freaked me the hell out ^_^;

It's not _immediately_ after Sunshine. The creators have confirmed that Undertoad takes place at least after Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which came out after Sunshine.

On Rosalina: she’s in space, not part of the Mushroom Kingdom. She wouldn’t be sealed underground. As for Mario and gang not knowing her, this AU is inspired by Paper Mario and other RPG’s. Not so much by Galaxy and onwards, aside from music.

Is it a weird thing to say that I think that the slowed-down version of Waterwafer Trench at the end almost fits the area better? It feels more like Undertale's Waterfall. I need an actual version of this. Can you upload a slowed down version of this to the channel? Also, what speed is it at? 80%?

Waterwafer isn't an exact replica of Waterfall, so it makes sense that they wouldn't have the same feel. Personally, I like the "less melancholy, more adventurous" feel of Waterwafer, but that's just me. In any case, KZbin already has a built-in speed adjuster. Click the gear in the corner of the video, then click "playback speed."

It being different from Waterfall is the entire point...? Waterfall sounded quiet and melancholic because that's how the area was - Waterwafer Trench is not quiet and melancholic. There is a lot more going on.

@@patwhit01 I know, but think about it. Undertale's Waterfall has 2 tracks: Quiet Water and Waterfall. Waterfall is melancholic, and Quiet Water is just chill. Now, if we're bumping it up a little with Undertoad, where Waterwafer Trench is the normal theme, then what would it's own "Quiet Water" theme be? After all, Waterwafer Trench can't be all adventure, since there will likely be a shop and a rest area later on. Basically, I think a slowed down version of Waterwafer would be great for that, just like it was great for the atmosphere of this phone call. Basically on the level of Waterfall, since a chill area in Waterwafer is less chill. Basically what I'm saying is that this would best fit some of the more quiet areas of Waterwafer, and considering that the team is already willing to work with speed changes, this could be possible and would sound great for the part.

Just realized why Mario is Sans Role, every Mario game you play as Mario going through the levels and When you die you respond either at a checkpoint or at the beginning of the level. Knowing what happens and how you die. I know it’s not that interesting but i had never made this connection since this AU was created ok.
