I`m kinda torn on this. Lidell has bottom 2. You really think he feels super confident?

+LLlap I agree. I don't think it necessarily means he's super-confident. I think it mainly means he's not bluffing, which can be a range of decent/strong hands. I mainly think he'd be unlikely to be this loose if he were bluffing.

+jon so in your experience an amateur comes to play with the pros and starts to play bootm two, a hand marginally better than TPTK as the nuts?

+LLlap well as a general rule, fish are more difficult to take off marginal hands because they over value them. however there is a missing ingredient to this discussion, in that chuck liddell, and I know this because I'm also a mixed martial arts fan, speaks with uncertainties a lot. many "I guess" and "uh's" riddle his normal speaking. I think this is an example of liddell simply playing for the fun of it. I doubt too much thought process went into his decision making. so although I enjoyed this video, I don't think this example was a particularly accurate one.

+LLlap I don't think it means he's super confident. I only think it makes a bluff unlikely and indicates someone more on the relaxed side. I might have phrased it badly in the video, I don't remember. Usually relaxed behavior just removes a bluff; there can still be a lot of decent but not great hands in someone's range.

1st example, there is more ppl in the pot then just him and joe, he shoulda been keeping his mouth shut, so yeah, i see your point how it reflects on being confident/strong....thnx for the vid

In the 2 pair hand where he said "all in I guess" he is really only gonna get snapped of by better hands, I wouldn't say he's overly comfortable shoving his stack in when the flush and the 89 just came in and several 2 pair combinations beat him................ he's really saying "idk what the eff to do here so im just gonna bet and hope im not beat"

the liddell example is not a good one. Liddell is not an idiot and with an Ace on the board he could well be facing a better two pair.
