I would like if there was more varied texture to the rarer cards. As of now its just kinda ridges and ripples, it'd be cool to have like fluctuations in texture that vary by subject

So Japanese cards actually have this! The problem is that English cards don’t have the texture map sent over, which leads to TPCI employed artists having to manually recreate the textures based off the Japanese cards and within the limitations of the international print machines.

The promo card is definitely more protected this way, there's little to no risk of it getting bent. But it does make it hard to keep it sealed... 😅🤷‍♀

It’s wild going back to the Sun/Moon and early Sword/Shield era and seeing how most of the chase cards were rainbow variants. Some look cool, but they always gave off a lazy vibe… like when you open a blind box figure and get a “rare” gold version that’s devoid of any detail not already present in the mold. I’d prefer the full art trainer with a proper background than just rainbow on rainbow.

I like the set up of the new PC etb’s. They are using a tray vs the cardboard insert. I feel like the tray is more functional and keeps everything in place better. Hopefully they integrate the trays into the regular etb’s soon.

THEY CHANGED THE SLEEVES If I remember correctly, the previous ETBS had opaque/cloudy sleeves, making it a little bit difficult to see the art, but now they're completely transparent!

I noticed that too. I have issues with some of the sleeves being too tight as well. I would use them more often if they had a looser fit but making them completely clear on the front is a good start.

I’m loving this set! Hit rates are a lot better compared to TWM and TEF, and I really like the Terapogos along with rainbow border cards. I managed to pull the Lacey at a prerelease on Sunday and the set just seems so much more fun to open compared to more recent sets.

I think it’s better the promo card being in the same sleeve as the dividers because the deviders give support to the card which should keep it in better condition during shipping. Especially with how much mail delivery companies kick parcels around.

Same I feel like the promo has a bigger chance of being damaged with the dividers. 2:41 I heard something about the purpose in that is to make sure it's not bent like usual. 2:46 But like he said, they don't even put it in a sleeve 3:38

I think it’s good that the promo is packed with the dividers. I got paldean fates etb and the promo somehow got all bent so hopefully the dividers can prevent that from happening

I hope if they go forward with the promos they would maybe consider sealing it with just 1 of the dividers so it can be kept sealed but also still have 3 dividers available to use bc I dont like that I probably wont be able to fit this in my binder now. Also the fact you have to open the card just so you can use the dividers 😬
