Unfortunately for me, the Carbos intended for Swampert never spawned, only ever a PP-Up (no matter the browser, or whether I reloaded or tackled that battle fresh the first time). It didn't really end up mattering except for during the Hex Maniac, but I managed to finish the rest of that biome on my own. It also resulted in a VERY underleveled Swampert for the rest of the run, but I managed to squeak by regardless. Thanks for at least helping catch Marshadow!

@@redox4604 same with mine, worked out fine in the end, even got the honkrow at 49, used metronome since draining kiss was a ko, did some encores then capped with a great ball. Also managed to save a master ball for the second Bisharp, used a rogue ball I ended up with.

I’m still following the guide because I can wing it, but I wanted to ask you if in that situation, should I still refresh at all the same places you refresh? Or should I treat it as if I already did the first refresh?

You should refresh where I refresh. Also im assuming the refresh was due to auto refresh on your browser? I suggest finding a way to turn it off

Idk why but a lot of my fight went differentely despite the rerolls and everything, also my drop were often differents. I play on chrome personnaly. Besides that the video was great, we can see the evolution and the effort since the first tuto

Edit: thanks, I managed to get Marshadow the second time around Some significant differences at this point: encounters in the first biome varied (Mightyena and Bibarel in the double battle as opposed to Pikachu and Mightyena), which led to running out of draining kiss PP and swapping to Marshtomp later on. The first boss was a Bibarel instead if a Linoone, which I caught anyways. Fairy Feather as a reward on the following wave was a mystic water instead. I will hope it hasn't gone off track too much and continue on anyways Edit: you did noy swap Pidgeotto for Linoone... I will start a new run

When I get to the first trainer battle, Marshtomp outspeeds Starly and hits it with Rock Slide first try. Once I beat Blitzle, the reward has a potion instead of a super potion. Everything is mostly the same till Bibarel, I can only get one Sand Attack in and then it KOs Pidgeotto. I haven't gone any farther because I'm certain it gets worse from there. I followed everything exactly, so I'm not sure why it's different. EDIT: it was the browser. I went over to chrome and it worked. No idea why it's like that. EDIT 2: nvm it's screwed up on Bibarel again. I'll just have to figure it out on my own. On one of my earlier attempts I found DNA Splicers AND Leftovers. Wish I knew what I did to cause that. I think the issue is that sometimes it gets stuck on saving and I wait and wait and it never loads so I have no other choice but to refresh the page. In that case, that makes following a guide impossible.

Ive almost screwed up, i used the revive on pidgeot instead of the x attack Without the attack, my marshadow did less dmg on gourgeist against morty, then my raichu didnt killed him. Ive beat him but my pidgeot was higher level (4 levels) Somehow i even had different pokemon against the double battle in 41, alcreamie instead of pidgeot (changed it but hounchcrow used a other move), still caught him. Luckily you freed him so that was took care of xD Rest of the run was the same

when i am fighting the trainer on floor 15 after i beat the gdos and switch into marshtop the skrelp flip turns instead of using core enforcer and then when i beat that one and fight the 2nd skrelp it lives on one not sure why could someone explain why it might happen

Classic is super free with a fairy type and a steel type, even more free if you bring tinkaton or mawile. Other than that bring some shinies to boost your luck and bring a pokemon with the ability pickup so you get infinite berries to put on your carry!

@@cloudyberries4894 they’re common pokemon usually, zigzagoon, meowth are examples

Zigzagoon is the one most go for because he’s easy to find early on, and if you wanna take him from the beginning to be sure, he’s only 2 points. Notable other early ones are Bunnelby and Aipom. Meowth really wants Technician over Pickup so I don’t include him, and the one who evolves into Herdier loses it when they become Herdier so that’s also a no from me- same problem for Teddiursa. That said, my absolute favorite for the role of “pickup slave” has to be Dedenne, because it can actually contribute beyond the role of pickup slave, being a fast and decently powerful special attacker with a status move for making catching mons easier. Get him Parabolic Charge, Thunder Wave, Play Rough, and whatever 4th move you want and he’ll make himself useful. Unfortunately he’s 4 points so not great to start out with, but if you get him along the way, he’s pretty good, which is better than most if not all of the other pickup slaves.

Starting pokemon should be the same for everyone
