Not sure what I did wrong, but at the reload point with the finizen at 11:35, my Absol loses the Sucker Punch move after reload. I didn't realize until the first time you used sucker punch and deviated from there. Party wipes eventually bc absol gets outsped later on. Also, am on the PokeRogue app instead of on Chrome or Firefox.

I don't know why you lost sucker punch, that's definitely a big bug. Also there's an app??

Same happened to me. Yes I think its a bug, however the quick fix is in your settings. Under "EXP Party Display" set it to "Normal" (same as in this video). That makes sure that Absol will learn the new move, and it will save BEFORE the next wave. I had it set to "Skip" and for some reason when using a rare candy, that means that it will only save the new move after defeating the new wave (because technically Absol learned it on the new wave, not the previous one). Therefore, refreshing on the new wave it learned the move (before saving) means that you will be on the new wave but the move will not be learned.

@@wahoo23883 That's cool to hear. I managed to brute force 17-20 and was able to continue following the video to the end, starting at 21. Deviating a little didn't prevent me from finishing the daily.

for some reason on wave 25 tinka tuff out sped cloyster for me. my cloyster was the same level

have a problem on 16 and 17. when i load back in absol doesnt have sucker punch. i also noticed compared to the video that the finizen spawns in while im still in the move replacement dialogue. maybe its bc of my game settings? edit: found a comment down below that states the solution to this. make sure in game settings under "EXP Party Display" it is set to "Normal"

Comment before viewing: I actually managed to do this one guideless, caught a skill link Cloyster with icicle spear and taught it shell smash. Used Contrary Malamar with topsy turvy to reverse the final boss Miraidon’s Speed increases and pallosand with butterfree to bait out its electro drifts until electric terrain ran out.

You know it just occurred to me watching the video. I think shedinja walls Miraidon. I dropped mine in favor of Malamar early on. Now I think it was a mistake. I only saw three of Miraidon’s moves, it could have had Power Gem. It

@@ProjectNaturePrds It definitely does, considering Miraidon continues spamming Agility while already maxed-out on speed. If one adds Phantom Force to the moveset of Shedinja near the end of the run the boss should be free (though it's still extremely free with the steps done in this vid).

Only difference this time around was that I got Relic Gold instead of Rogue Balls at Wave 25 - but for the three captures that occurred after getting them, Great Balls worked for the first two, and I just KO'd the Aggron at 49 instead of catching it. All else worked exactly as anticipated, except for the early Dwebble dying to two water guns (needed to only use one and then catch instead). Thanks again Makinu!

I have no idea why, I followed everything you did, but I had two major differences: On wave 4, my Wormadam was faster, so the Bug bite went through. - Only thing that changes with that is that you Water Gun once isntead of twice and then throw the Pokeball. Then everything basicly went the same, until you picked up the Rouge Balls. I had a Relic Gold in that spot for some reason, which I took. Luckyly it didn't matter in the end because you didn't keep any Pokemon balled with them in the team (I tried to pick Ultra Balls instead of a Nugget later at one point, but they can't catch the Aggron, so I reloaded and killed it like the other mons you Rouge balled.). Thanks for the guides every day!

as a note: i'm also getting the relic gold instead of rogue balls despite following every step exactly on a chrome browser, and as a result of having to throw a normal pokeball the weavile on wave 40 gets one shot by barb, revives with its seed and then kills me in the next turn with foul play no matter what i do??? and then i have to swap in cloyster (icicle spearx6) and absol (night slash tho i forgot how many) earlier than the video. i do manage to defeat her, and everything up to wave 49 is identical before the lack of rogue balls means i have to kill aggron instead, and then miraidon is once again identical and easily defeated not entirely sure where things went wonky but

The wave one Binacle is shiny for me and the increased Luck causes the Rare Candy on Wave 5 to 'upgrade' into a Nugget. Update: Had to reload on waves 11 and 12 to not get ko'd by crits or high damage rolls, which slightly changed my run, but with a little improvisation, I managed to beat it anyway.

Wave 25, got relic gold instead of rogue balls. Not sure if my rng was worse or something but it did happen. Also I keep OTKing the Escue at round 32. Absol just wants to crit all the things

the relic gold thing actually happened to me too (i'm on chrome and reloaded where needed) The differences: had to use great balls/poké balls instead of rogue balls and KO the second Aggron, also Miraidon used agility instead of electro drift vs. Cloyster

Update i took the focus band and then the trainer battle after was the same but instead of the rogue balls there was the ancient relic so i took that and now the other prizes are the same as the video so it's all good for the others who got the same thing as me.

I ended up doing something different early on as a few of my item choices were different. The reroll at 42 (?) Gave me G-Max Butterfree haha. Not that I needed it as I taught Phantom Force to Shedinja and Miraidon can't hit that. Mud Slap isn't important, seemingly.

It's always been the mons that carry the run, a legend or rare mon is included if there is one.

I literally do nothing wrong, I follow the guide to an exact T and somehow on 25 i never get rogue balls, it always gives me a relic gold.. is this gonna affect this run hard if i dont choose the rogue balls? (also using chrome browser and everything else you say to do)

I dont think it affects the run, I believe there might have been a code push affecting this section of the rng but it SHOULD play out the same

So wave 15 didnt give the revive, and on 16 instead of finizen, a malamar appeared instead. So far ive followed to a T so i am confused. 11:03 Update both Finizens were switched to malamar, which gave more exp

As far as I've seen, eggs use a completely different RNG seed/variable, so they should not alter the run.

If you're on PC, just hit F5 to refresh. If you're on mobile, just close and reopen your browser app and it'll accomplish the same thing. edit: They renamed "Return to Title" to "Save and Quit" at some point today. Should functionally be the exact same thing.

On wave 16-17 if u do sucker punch over rain dance, wave 17 u reload sometime u will lost Sucker Punch and your Absol will stay with Rain Dance :( happened 2 times with me

so ya i think i know why the differences keep happening, most the rng you can manipulate but damage rolls are always rng, so if you or ai does more or less damage from an rng roll then you will have different outcomes

Ehm, round 40 was EXTREMELY different. Weavile revives and oneshots my barbaracle for example, then adter the 5 icecle spears i only need one night slash to finish the battle Ok, you got 7 points more and i had 9310 momey somehow xD Oh right, i had the relic Gold
