Only watched a few of these as I just found you recently but there is a lot of really good info in your vids. Appreciate you putting out such high quality free content.

35:25 your calling range might be protected but if he plays double block OTT you need to find bluff and thin value raises, else he can just kinda own you by blocking turn with all his middling/weak hands. What kinda xr range for bluffs would you have there.
@PokerWithRiske Жыл бұрын
Just a mixture of flush draws, and straight draws for the most part. Then I can raise some 8x and 7x

Great video Ryan really enjoyed it a few questions: 1. at 3.00 when you bet small on the river with QJcc what are you repping?? What hands are you checking turn with that bets river for value. 2. at 12.26 when you check that flop how are you balancing that line. What hands would you be checking flop with, to then bluff turn and river with. I was everything you to bet your whole range on that flop. 3. at 19.50 what hands are you check raising for value on the turn?? You also said your giving up unless it's a 6 or a 7. But surely we need to bluff some brick rivers to balance our value bets?? Or do you check all your value hands on brick rivers?? Thanks for the video.

1. 8x, 66, 77, 9x etc. 2. Just a mixture of value and bluffs. Going to bet most often with pairs that need protection and my best bluffing candidates and mix everything else. 3. I will bluff river with better combos, my hand blocks too many folds.

@@PokerWithRiske Thanks for taking the time to write this Ryan. Really appreciate it 3. But what hands are you checking raising on the flop, that then bet the turn, that don't block folds on river. Are you just check raising flop with random hands with no board connection and the firing turn

9:36 when that 5 pairs its like a pure lead for oop on turn
@offrampcАй бұрын
Yep, I checked the solver as well and was surprised to see it. Solver is pure leading with a small bet with every hand.

With the AA facing turn 10%, do you think turn raise is mandatory because they wont follow through on riv often, so by calling they are free rolling equity? I was tempted to call there and jam riv when check to, and put bluff catchers into a decision. I guess vs 10% though, pretty unlikely we see bluffs on the river, so we may as well raise now with hand that dominates AK - and of course we can raise some bluffs as well

Yeah I’d rather ‘trap’ with hands that are either more nutted like a set or don’t beat all his Kx like AK. But if I have AA and KT I will mainly fastplay turn vs this size

Hi Ryan, a bit of a side question but would like to hear your opinion - what bluffs would you recommend for BBvHJ and BBvCO 3betting?
@PokerWithRiske Жыл бұрын
suited connectors and then a mix of suited high/low cards like Q6s

I wanna get coached by you and be able to crush 1/2 and 2/5, but you and Alvers are both are in my pool (Ontario) and those pools seem pretty small as is, doesnt seem beatable if you and alvers are in there, and jarretman and several others
