When a Low and Overhead hit at the same time, it neutralizes the mix up and becomes a mid. This became known with Quan Chi in MKX with his bat setups. Playing Online can easily make this occur even if you practice hitting the OH and Low separately. FYI

Jev if you hit an overhead and low too close (2 frames apart) they can Block both as if the were standing and ducking. Basically a protection to those unblockables setups

Little advice for the low hat Jev. You want to put a more distinct break between low hat and overhead. If you have them hit at the same time, it’s an unblockable and doesn’t count. Give time for one to finish before sending the other.

Watching Jev's last video was really funny to me. He was pissed off about the Kitana running away during the match, but the thing is, even in the higher ranks of Kombat League, most people are doing that as well. It's simply way too effective to walk back, wait for your opponent to do something stupid, and punish them for it. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if it wasn't for the clock almost always about to run out. I just hope for Jev's sake, he never runs into a Liu Kang that just spams projectile and runs away while also only doing back throws because he still hasn't learned how to tech them.
