Thise who know nothing about the sport should stay off from commenting. It is hard to make weight for every combat sport and many competitors go through insane weight control measures to do it if they are trying to make it to a weight class under their natural weight. It's a double edged sword in that fighting in a lower weight class gives them a weight advantage during the fight day when they return to higher weight from hydration and proper meals but the risk is not managing to meet the standard or being weak from dehydration during the fight.
