The 29 nations in NATO who support Sweden and Finland entry to NATO should announce intentions to defend these countries if necessary. This will isolate Turkey within NATO. Turkey has not been a loyal member of NATO and NATO should start action to expel Turkey from NATO - just my humble opinion.

@@adrismit6084 Russia is not dictating anything. Russia was asking Finland to hold the Status Quo ! It's EU and NATO pressing Finland to abandon neutrality. It appears to anyone with common sense that Finland is even afraid of EU and NATO! NATO man Stoltenberg of Norway has been meeting pressing the FIN/SWE leaders on a daily basis ever since Russia attacked Ukraine. Norway is a huge beneficiary of the Ukraine War - Oil Revenue for 20022 alone soar by 200 billion dollars! And Norway exports billions of worth of arms to NATO!! Finnish President recently admitted on CNN when Niinisto said ": "Finland wants to join not because of fear of any Russian attack, but because there was no room for neutrality in today's Europe." It's a wrong reason to change the stand now. And without a referendum and debate! Unanimous? Sign of dictatorship!

Poland should not repeat the mistakes of 1939. Poland is a non nuclear power. Russia has been crippled militarily and economically. Russia feels humiliated and angry. Extremist within humiliated Russia would love to use tactical nukes. Poland and Israel should not give them any excuse.

Tbh the initial response from the two major players in the EU (Germany and France) to the war in the Ukraine just showed virtually everyone what the truth is. That all this talk about european solidarity is just bullshit and national interests always come first. I don't think that Germany and France will ever let Ukraine into the EU. And while I disagree with you about Poland aiming to become more important in the EU, I strongly agree that Poland aims to strengthen the Eastern Europe - as a counterweight to the Western Europe. I think whole eastern EU (Poland, Baltics etc.) as well as Ukraine is fed up with the Germans and the French sipping the benefits of the high margins while using the East as the physical workforce and the assembly place.
